Purpose of Position 
Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) is a is a web-based data system which collects homeless 
services and related data from shelters, supportive service providers, and public agencies working to serve 
homeless and at-risk clients in Orange County. Its purpose is to ascertain an unduplicated count of people 
experiencing homelessness in Orange County, track their progress through the system of care into self-sufficiency, 
coordinate service delivery, and provide accurate aggregate data regarding sub-populations. The successful 
candidate will have a strong aptitude for providing technical support to non-technical database users, databases, 
and a keen interest in analyzing and interpreting data including writing and running reports. Under the direction 
of the HMIS Senior Manager, the selected candidate will be responsible for leading HMIS training activities, 
contributing content to monthly HMIS user meetings, compiling monthly performance reports using HMIS data, 
participating in the completion of several HUD reports throughout the year, and providing general support to HMIS 
participating agencies 
 
Key Duties and Responsibilities 

 • Serves as 2nd tier technical support to HMIS agencies to ensure appropriate use of system 
 • Supports the ongoing development of HMIS training and education materials, including the development 

of new and maintenance of existing training materials, as well as conducting training in webinar format 
 • Participate in agency audit process, including maintenance of materials, training staff, performing audits, 

tracking results and following up with agencies 
 • Compiles monthly performance reports using HMIS data including managing the data quality correction 

process, analyzing final data for performance evaluation, and creating a report using performance findings

 • Completes agency and project set-up in HMIS as needed 
 • Participates in the completion of annual Point in Time Count (PIT) and Housing Inventory Count (HIC) and

 • Ongoing support including system monitoring and testing, problem diagnosis and resolution, and updates 

to HMIS

We are seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Manager to join our team. 
 
The Senior Marketing Manager will play a key role in shaping and maintaining a cohesive brand image for 
Orange County United Way across the community. This role will focus on supporting the marketing and 
communication needs for our Development and Philanthropy teams, signature events, and other key 
marketing initiatives. The successful candidate will manage the end-to-end execution of marketing

In addition, the Sr. Marketing Manager will work closely with and manage a Marketing Specialist, serving 
as their direct supervisor. This includes leading, mentoring, and developing the Marketing Specialist, 
ensuring alignment on project goals, and fostering a collaborative team environment. 
 
Key responsibilities include understanding the unique needs and goals of each project, documenting 
requirements, setting and prioritizing timelines, and ensuring on-time delivery. This role requires strong 
vendor management skills, the ability to work collaboratively across internal teams, and the capability to 
lead both independently and alongside consultants. The Senior Marketing Manager will be expected to 
lead in the execution of projects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality results that align with

Works closely with a variety of internal and external partners to implement and expand strategic initiatives.</li><li>Coordinates and/or leads consistent family and community engagement activities, including Community Forums.</li><li>Brings awareness through verbal and written presentations to critical regional financial stability needs and existing systems of care that support <a href="https://unitedwaysuncoast.org/what-we-do/alice-suncoast-2020/" target="_blank">ALICE</a> in our communities.</li><li>Collaborates with the Resource Development and Marketing teams to maximize understanding and use of Community Impact and Strategic Community Partner information and co-create communication collateral.</li><li>May also perform duties including but not limited to:</li></ul><ol><li>Oversees daily operations of a Resource Center providing strategically aligned resources and services to community members.</li><li>Connects community members with resources for services such as job placement, financial literacy counseling, legal aid, housing, medical care, and financial assistance.</li><li>Identifies potential program participants and facilitates participation in appropriate programs.</li></ol><ul><li>May contribute to budgets and forecasting; effectively manages resources.</li><li>Develops and refines processes to improve efficiency and achievement of goals and objectives.</li><li>Consistently demonstrates Our Suncoast Code and Values including applicable elements of leading self, team, and organization.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Skills for Success:<ul><li>Typically requires four (4) or more years of relevant experience, including management experience.</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in a related field; equivalent training or experience may be accepted in lieu.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to work some evening and weekend hours.</li><li>Ability to work and drive in the field within the Suncoast region.&nbsp;</li><li>Bilingual or multilingual (English/Spanish/Creole) a plus; may be required</li></ul>Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion:<ul><li>Behaviors reflect a belief that individuals from diverse backgrounds lead to a more successful organization.</li><li>Educates oneself about DEI issues within the organization and community.</li><li>Demonstrates a willingness to become aware of and address one’s own implicit biases.</li><li>Deliberately works to include individuals from underrepresented backgrounds in efforts both internally and externally as appropriate.</li><li>Identifies and integrates the tools and resources needed to create more equitable environments.</li></ul>
