You will collaborate with nonprofit health and human services partners, educational institutions, businesses, government agencies, and community members to assess where needs are greatest and spearhead high-impact initiatives that strengthen the lives of individuals and families.&nbsp; Primary Position Responsibilities&nbsp; •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Lead key United Way of Brevard (UWB) Community Impact strategic initiatives, including stakeholder and volunteer engagement, programmatic coordination with community partners, and maintenance and reporting of records and program data.&nbsp; •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Convene and manage select community collaborations, ensuring key stakeholder engagement to develop and execute strategies that elevate and support individuals and families in the Brevard County community. Collaborations include Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA), Mission United, Mayor’s Fitness Challenge, Financial Literacy and additional groups as determined.&nbsp; •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;In partnership with the UWB Community Impact Director, develop and implement capacity-building initiatives for UWB partner agencies and community network partners. Areas of responsibility include identification of needs, development, and delivery of educational and skill-building offerings, and one-to-one or small group support.&nbsp; •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Support Resource Development to promote results and increase donor interest in United Way work, volunteer opportunities, and engagement.&nbsp; •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Participate in corporate campaign events to educate donors on community needs and what UWB is doing to address those needs.&nbsp; Additional Position Responsibilities&nbsp; •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Assist the UWB Community Impact Director with data analysis, collection, and reporting.&nbsp; •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Represent UWB in community forums and groups, educating stakeholders about the vision and mission of UWB and connecting positive community impact of UWB and partner agencies to identified human services priorities.&nbsp; •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Support and communicate UWB’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion by engaging diverse populations in collaborations, programming, and support.&nbsp; •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;In partnership with UWB leadership and staff, participate in grant proposal preparation and/or management as assigned.&nbsp; •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Supports the Community Impact/allocation process, including staffing panels and assisting with agency training and material preparation.&nbsp; •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Additional responsibilities as determined by UWB Community Impact Director in support of UWB’s mission.&nbsp; Position Qualifications&nbsp; Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years related experience required, with an emphasis in education, nonprofit or public administration, public health, social work, or social sciences field preferred. Candidates with a combination of educational background and extensive work experience in health and human services or a related field will be considered.&nbsp; Position Requirements•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Excellent organization and time management skills and the ability to coordinate, delegate and supervise. &nbsp; •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Self-starter that has the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. &nbsp;&nbsp; •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Comfortable using technology and has experience with Microsoft Office products including Excel, has prior experience using computers daily, and prior experience using databases/CRMs and reporting/dashboard modules&nbsp; •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Expertise in developing and delivering presentations and workshops to diverse audiences and through various platforms (in-person, online, hybrid). Ability to identify and collaborate with community partners.&nbsp; •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Demonstrated leadership in programmatic strategic planning, development and implementation.&nbsp; •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Current Florida driver’s license and a vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage if required to drive in the course of performing assigned duties and responsibilities.&nbsp; •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Ability to work a flexible schedule during certain parts of the year that will require occasional night and weekend work.&nbsp; Physical Requirements&nbsp; Environment, Physical Activity, and Mental Demands&nbsp; The environment for this position is an open office that is clean and comfortable and includes driving a vehicle approximately 25% of the time.
