PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

United Way of Southeast Missouri (UWSEMO) supports 30 partners that help to address immediate need in our four-county service area. More importantly, we invest significant time and money into addressing what creates need in the first place. With the power of our network and widespread contacts, we tackle big issues like transportation and childcare.
UWSEMO&nbsp;seeks a full-time AmeriCorps Planning Grant Director to oversee our recently awarded AmeriCorps State Planning Grant. The chosen candidate will spend a year researching and identifying solutions to childcare and transportation that can be supported by a 2025 AmeriCorps Operations Grant and AmeriCorps members.&nbsp;If UWSEMO is awarded the Operational Grant, the person in this one-year role may transition into the role of Program Director in 2025, managing the AmeriCorps Program for 1-2 years. Salary for the year is $50,000 plus healthcare benefits, a flexible schedule, sick leave and paid holidays. There is no guarantee of full-time employment beyond the grant period.
OVERVIEW OF RESPONSIBILITIES

Position Overview 
The United Way of the Mid-South (UWMS) is seeking a well-organized and independent leader to serve as a Mobile Assistant Site Coordinator for a Free Tax Preparation/ VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) mobile tax site providing free tax preparation at various locations. Assisting with overseeing a mobile free tax site, which offers free federal and state income tax preparation for qualifying families and individuals from January - April. With the guidance of Community Impact leadership, this individual will assist in the management of a Free Tax Preparation/VITA site.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities 
<ul><li>The Mobile Assistant Site Coordinator will assist in managing a mobile tax site for the tax season, providing Free Tax preparation at various locations.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Helping to recruit, schedule and manage volunteer tax preparers for the season, ensuring all volunteers have obtained the necessary certifications.</li>
<li>Conduct Quality Reviews of returns filed by fellow volunteers.</li>
<li>Assist in site management including, maintaining confidentiality, client services, tax return review and transmission, and volunteer relations</li>
<li>Provides support and guidance to volunteer staff who prepare electronic tax returns for low and moderate-income taxpayers.</li>
<li>Responsible for the collaboration with the United Way Agency partners who will help in identifying potential clients for tax preparation.</li>

The Chief Financial Officer will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all finance-related activities of the organization. Position Summary
The Executive Assistant will provide high-level administrative support to the Chief Strategic Intelligence and Information Officer (CSIO), who serves as a member of the Executive Team. Reporting directly to the CSIO, the Executive Assistant provides executive support in a one-on-one working relationship with the CSIO and members of the Strategic Intelligence team. <li>Monitor, organize and respond to email questions on behalf of Chief Strategic Intelligence Officer.</li>
