The Campaign Reporting and Data Entry Associate becomes a full-time, extension of the United Way staff during the campaign season (Approximately 18 weeks). They provide education and training to Campaign Leaders and effectively communicate the United Way message through public speaking before groups of various sizes. The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic and genuine in their passion for this organization and for helping our community.TEMPORARY POSITION – LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT The Campaign Associate hired for this position is committed to work with United Way for approximately 18 weeks beginning with training at the end of July and running through end of November. The role is responsible for managing a team of fundraisers focused on identifying, cultivating, and expanding individual, family, and private foundation gifts. The position oversees the United Way’s Tocqueville Society ($10,000+ annually), individual giving programs, legacy giving, and endowment giving. Reporting to the Chief Development Officer will serve as a key member and leader of the Resource Development Team.This person must have the ability to lead others and communicate with a diverse set of stakeholders in a professional manner. Purpose: The Compliance Specialist supports the mission of United Way of El Paso

to address community needs as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The 
Compliance Specialist helps ensure all applicant’s supporting 
documentation comply with relevant regulations and policies that adhere

MAJOR DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES: 

ï· Process and review applications for rental and utility assistance. 

ï· Review all documentation, forms, and certification files to validate information and make 
determinations of eligibility for assistance, ensuring compliance to the program 
procedures for eligibility requirements. 

ï· Utilize technology platforms to communicate and collect information and documentation 
as needed. 

ï· Complete review of applications in a timely and accurate manner, consistent with 
regulatory guidelines, with the need for strong time management skills. 

ï· Maintain client files and documentation according to quality assurance, grant reporting, 
and auditing standards. Ensure client file contains all required and acceptable 
documentation and verification. 

ï· Serve as liaison between Resiliency Navigator and/or applicant on additional 
documentation requests.

Resiliency Navigator supports the efforts United Way of El Paso 
County as the backbone of the Family Resiliency Center under the

Case Management 

ï· Provision of holistic and comprehensive assessment, case management, crisis 
intervention and behavioral health services to clients including but not limited to 
intake assessment and ongoing problem-solving. 

ï· Provide referrals and resources to community members seeking support as a 
result of the tragic shooting on August 3, 2019. 

ï· Provide a warm hand-off for community members when making referrals to other 
agencies or partner programs. Follow up with agencies and clients, as 
appropriate.

accurate information to community members seeking support. 

ï· Maintain accurate records of clients seeking care and obstacles faced to 
continually provide feedback to the Director on the need for evolving programs
