POSITION OVERVIEW 
	The Senior Associate, Grants Specialist supports the development of grant compliance 
	processes and procedures. The Grants Specialist will ensure compliance with established 
	internal control procedures for grants administration and grants management
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 
	● Develop and maintain grant record-keeping systems, budgets, procedures and 
	documentation to provide for efficient project and department operation. 
	● Coordination of grant communication efforts between UWMS internal and external

	● Review, monitor, and analyze monthly financial transactions to ensure compliance with

POSITION OBJECTIVE: 
	The Team UP AmeriCorps Coordinator, under direct supervision of the AmeriCorps Director, supports all programmatic aspects of Team UP AmeriCorps. This includes program planning, member management, communication/outreach, grant compliance, host site support, and data/program reporting. ● Program Planning

Team UP AmeriCorps Coordinator

JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for the development and management of a comprehensive, strategic, integrated effort to build the base of individual Palmetto Society donors ($1,000 and up) and Tocqueville donors ($10,000 and up) and increase their level of support through annual giving at Trident United Way (TUW).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Essential Function 1:
Identify, cultivate and steward multi-year top tier donors ($10,000 and up) and engage donors in multi-year step-up programs,
Essential Function 2:
Identify, cultivate, solicit and steward leadership gift donors ($1,000 and up) to achieve the goal approved by the Board of Directors for outside the workplace campaigns.
Essential Function 3:
Support and staff a volunteer Palmetto Steering Committee to identify, cultivate and steward individuals in order to develop resources by filling the key positions of regional chairs, leadership-level giving chairs, and at-large steering committee members as identified in the Palmetto Society Business Plan.
Essential Function 4:
Provide strategy and guidance to the Events Coordinator to plan events designed to recruit, cultivate and/or steward leadership-level gift donors and/ qualified donor prospects through regional events as identified in the Advancement Plan.
Essential Function 5:
Work in collaboration with Corporate Advancement Officers to identify leadership donor prospects from the workplace campaigns and create and implement engagement strategy for reaching out to those donors.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Advancement Officer - Major Gifts

United Way of Greater Cincinnati (UWGC) fights for the economic well-being of all people in Greater Cincinnati so our entire community can thrive – now and in the future. Using three strategic impact pillars of Taking Action, Advocating, and Investing, the Community Impact team is primarily responsible for creating, implementing, and maintaining community solutions that will drive community level change across Greater Cincinnati in the areas of educational success, financial empowerment, and housing security.

Director, Impact

United Way of Greater Cincinnati is focused on addressing some of our community’s most pressing challenges, like housing affordability, financial insecurity, and improving educational outcomes. The Housing Navigation Center (HNC) is a physical location where those experiencing homelessness receive help to regain housing and those at risk of homelessness are prevented from losing their housing. The Housing Coordinator will be based at the UWWC Housing Navigation Center (HNC) and responsible for providing case management and housing coordination for households experiencing homelessness. Housing Coordinators work with individuals that engage on site, as well as people identified through the Coordinated Assessment and Housing Placement (CAHPS) by-name list. Coordinators advocate to ensure the most vulnerable households experiencing homelessness in the community are connected to supports to find stable and permanent housing. Housing Coordinators will provide person-centered care to a household and work with them toward stability and self-sufficiency, with the ultimate goal of obtaining stable housing. Housing coordination is a collaborative approach where the worker and guest focuses on overcoming any challenges that may be preventing the household in obtaining stable housing. They will facilitate connections to community agencies to coordinate care and connect households to additional resources, and ensure households have ties to their community and support systems. Additionally, this position will work with the Outreach Coordinator to assist with targeted street outreach to people experiencing homelessness in our community.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
<ul><li>Utilizes Housing First, trauma-informed care, person centered, and culturally competent principles when interacting with guests</li>
<li>Provide housing navigation and housing-focused case management services to people experiencing homelessness on and off site.</li>
<li>Complete intakes for people entering into services utilizing Homeless Management Information System (HMIS)</li>
<li>Utilize motivational interviewing to engage guests to developing holistic housing plans</li>
<li>Works with households to identify and overcome barriers to housing</li>
<li>Coordinate with community partners to ensure HNC guests are connecting to appropriate community resources</li>
