POSITION SUMMARY: 


The Fundraising Data and Administrative Coordinator supports business needs with a strong 

focus on data integrity, donor systems management, and campaign operations (75%), while also 

providing essential administrative support to leadership and fundraising initiatives (25%). This role 

is critical in managing and optimizing platforms such as Andar (inc. ePledge) and GiveSmart to

POSITION DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES

Data &amp; System Support (75%) 

ï· Serve as the primary Andar administrator, providing expert-level guidance, troubleshooting, 

and training to internal staff on key database functions. 

ï· Oversee data quality and conduct regular audits, clean-up projects, and reconciliations 

with Finance to ensure campaign and donor records are accurate. 

ï· Manage donor data flow across third-party platforms, i.e. GiveSmart; maintain and 

segment mailing lists, ensuring alignment with communication strategy. 

ï· Build and execute complex queries to support campaign segmentation, reporting, and 

strategy. 

ï· Lead and support ePledge deployment, troubleshooting issues for workplace campaign 

champions and donors, and serving as a liaison with App Support Services. 

ï· Collaborate with Finance to manage donation records, adjustments, reconciliations, and 

annual audit preparation. 

ï· Execute direct mail and digital campaigns in collaboration with organizational strategy, 

ensuring timing, list accuracy, and technical execution.

histories and event participation data. 


Administrative Support (25%) 

ï· Provide calendar management, meeting scheduling, and coordination of logistics for 

internal and external stakeholders. 

ï· Manage campaign materials inventory, reordering, and logistics for distribution. 

ï· Support event logistics, donor mailings, and routine data updates resulting from donor 

communications. 

ï· Coordinate scheduling, prepare internal reports and dashboards, and assist in special 

projects related to fundraising and engagement. 

ï· Serve as a point of contact for routine inquiries, redirecting or escalating as appropriate. 


Flexibility 

ï· UWFC is evolving with our changing external environment. Flexibility and adaptability are 

key attributes for this position. This position requires in-office work a minimum of 4 days 

per week.

Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, this role supervises four (4) team members, who manage their own corporate partner portfolios. Together, the entire team identifies, cultivates, solicits, and stewards corporate donors, as well as manages a robust workplace giving program. The Director of Corporate Partnerships will partner closely with individual giving members alongside grants to strategically grow and diversify fundraising revenue at United Way NCA, with particular focus on increasing corporate support and partnership activations, as well as converting passthrough workplace campaign donors.Key Responsibilities: The Director, Corporate Partnerships&nbsp;will:<ul><li>Lead the immediate, near-term, and long-term strategic planning, implementation, growth, and maintenance of a robust Corporate Partnerships Program and Team.</li><li>Lead and manage a highly collaborative team in all identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship efforts with Corporate and workplace campaign prospects and donors.&nbsp;</li><li>Support the CEO, CDO, and Board of Directors in their corporate engagement efforts.</li><li>Manage and report on Corporate Partnerships expense and revenue budget.</li><li>Meet and/or exceed annual revenue goals.&nbsp;</li><li>Meet the minimum annual fundraising growth goals.&nbsp;</li><li>Track, and report on Corporate Partnerships Team’s progress, utilizing established key performance indicators (KPIs).</li><li>In collaboration with Individual Giving, ensure workplace campaign donors who have membership in the Tocqueville Society (United Way’s major giving society) and/or affinity groups (Regional Advisory Council, Women United, and NextGen United) are stewarded appropriately.</li><li>Monitor and institute corporate partnerships best practices in operations, such as workplace campaign administration, CRM utilization, prospect research, acknowledgments, and reporting.</li><li>Work closely with the Marketing and Communications Department to coordinate communication strategies for corporate partners.&nbsp;</li><li>Work closely with the Community Impact Division and the Grants Team to identify the best opportunities to align with the Corporate Partner’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives and engage corporate employee volunteerism.</li><li>Coach and train the Development Team for increasingly complex and new corporate opportunities to include sponsorships, point of sale campaigns, cause-related marketing, etc.</li><li>Create and drive a culture of philanthropy across all fundraising areas that contribute to the entire Development Team’s goals.</li></ul>Manage a portfolio of Corporate Partners:<ul><li>Serve as the primary relationship manager in identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of 20 – 40 Corporate Partners with the capacity to support at the $25,000+ level on an annual basis.</li><li>Secure new corporate partnerships and activations.&nbsp;</li><li>Document all portfolio-related activities using the donor database Andar.</li><li>Supervise front-line team who manage a portfolio of a minimum forty corporate partners each and lead on workplace campaign and partnerships.&nbsp;</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>Key Performance Indicators: All front-line fundraisers at United Way NCA are expected to meet annual KPIs. Fundraising performance is measured annually by the following, with specific goals based on leadership level role and portfolio makeup which includes:<ul><li>Face-to-face meetings,</li><li>Moves actions completed,</li><li>Solicitations,</li><li>Gifts/Partnerships/Activations secured,</li><li>Total dollars raised,</li><li>Number of new, retained, and upgraded partners, and</li><li>Collaborative gifts closed.</li></ul>Requirements:Educational Background&nbsp;&amp;&nbsp;Experience<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree preferred.&nbsp; A High School Diploma (or GED) with equivalent related work experience is required.&nbsp;</li><li>Minimum seven (7) years of fundraising experience, with experience in corporate partnership, and a proven record of accomplishment of securing complex corporate partnerships valued at six-figures-plus. Workplace campaign administration experience preferred.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience leading and managing a successful fundraising team; including recruiting, managing, evaluating, developing, and training development staff.</li><li>Excellent writing and communication skills are required with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse external and internal audiences.&nbsp;</li><li>Possessing a business acumen that entails knowledge and understands general business and financial principles required to effectively lead, manage, and align resources for performance; as well as the ability to read financial statements, understand budgets, etc. is essential.&nbsp;</li><li>Contributes to the bottom line by helping the organization grow its resources and capacity.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.</li><li>Proficiency in utilizing a Customer Relations Management (CRM) database is required.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience in prospecting, researching, and data analysis is preferred.&nbsp;</li><li>Excellent project management skills, with a proven record of accomplishment of managing multiple projects, ensuring consistent meeting deadlines and efficient processes and procedures.</li><li>Great problem-solving skills designed to meet challenges that may arise.</li></ul>Qualifications and Personal Attributes:To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position and achieve high performance:Mission focused&nbsp;– the ability to create real social change that leads to better lives and healthier communities.Relationship oriented&nbsp;–an understanding that people come before process and is astute in cultivating and managing relationships toward a common goal.Collaborator&nbsp;– understands the role and contribution of all sectors of the community and can mobilize resources through meaningful engagement.Results driven&nbsp;– dedicated to shared and measurable goals for the common good, creating, resourcing, scaling, and leveraging strategies and innovations.Brand steward&nbsp;– a steward of the brand and understands his/her role in growing and protecting the reputation and results of the greater network.Strategic relationship building&nbsp;– develops and maintains strategic relationships that generate the resources necessary to support United Way's mission.Effective &amp; engaging communicator&nbsp;– an effective and passionate communicator, articulating United Way NCA's message in a way that inspires others to act in service to the organization and the community.Embracing and managing change&nbsp;– champions and facilitates change to ensure long-term community sustainability.
