 Job Title: HMIS Support Specialist Reporting To: HMIS Program Manager 

 Department: HMIS Position: Full-time/Non - EXEMPT 


Purpose of Position 
Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) is a webâbased data system that collects unhoused services 
and related data from shelters, supportive service providers, and public agencies working to serve displaced and 
atârisk clients in Orange County. Its purpose is to ascertain an unduplicated count of unhoused individuals in Orange 
County, track their progress through the system of care into selfâsufficiency, coordinate service delivery, and 
provide accurate aggregate data regarding subâpopulations. The successful candidate will have a strong aptitude 
for providing technical support to nonâtechnical database users and databases. Under the direction of the HMIS 
Program Manager, the selected candidate will be responsible for leading HMIS training activities and developing 
training materials, contributing content to monthly HMIS user meetings, and providing technical support to HMIS 
participating agencies. 
 

Key Duties and Responsibilities 
 • Serves as technical support to HMIS agencies to ensure appropriate use of system 

 • Supports the ongoing development of HMIS training and education materials, including the development of 
new and maintenance of existing training materials, as well as conducting training in webinar format 

 • Participate in agency audit process, including maintenance of materials, training staff, performing audits, 
tracking results and following up with agencies 

 • Completes agency and project setâup in HMIS as needed 

 • Ongoing support including system monitoring and testing, problem diagnosis and resolution, and updates to 
HMIS 

 • Provides content for monthly HMIS user meetings to address appropriate system use, recommend system 
improvements, facilitate information sharing and identify best practices 

 • Maintains quality, accessibility, and functionality of HMIS by keeping up to date with release notes and other 
documentation from the HMIS vendor and Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) 

 • Creates education documentation on the use of HMIS and HUD policy for a nonâtechnical audience as needed 

 • Contribute website content updates

The Peer Specialist will support callers on their mental health recovery journey, providing timely access to mental well-being support and caring contacts.The Peer Crisis &amp; 988 Specialist performs a variety of technical and professional work associated with handling calls, chats and texts.&nbsp; This position will handle incoming phone contacts on our National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (NSPL), also known as 988, while collecting and documenting all required data and offering all applicable resources and referrals to callers who may be in emotional distress and suicidal crisis. The Crisis &amp; 988 Specialist is responsible for providing excellent service to those accessing the service by applying the equivalent of reflective listening and motivational interviewing skills in the context of an electronic exchange. Crisis &amp; 988 Specialists have the special training and skills to interact via phone, chat and text to understand callers’ unique circumstances and needs, render immediate emotional support, provide options for ongoing support/treatment and follow up to ensure needs are being met. Position Summary 
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director (ED) will be a mission-driven, 
collaborative, and innovative leader. The ED will manage the entire United Way of Coastal Carolina 
(UWCC) operation within the annual budget guidelines as adopted by the Board of Directors. The 
Executive Director will serve as the brand ambassador and champion of the organization in the 
community, which includes connecting with a constituency of givers, recipients of services, 
individuals, associations, agencies, education partners, government, businesses, and other 
institutions. The Executive Director will possess a high level of broad business skills, financial 
acumen, and strategic management expertise to effectively retool the campaign process to generate 
resources and financial support for the organization. As a lead spokesperson, the Executive 
Director will ensure that United Way of Coastal Carolina’s mission and community investments are

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARYFor more than 60 years,&nbsp;<a href="http://www.wellpartners.org" target="_blank">WellPartners</a> has created stronger, healthier, and more prosperous families and communities by offering free dental and vision health services through preventive and restorative dental and vision care to uninsured children and adults in the Midlands. WellPartners has three physical locations, to include three dental clinics and one vision clinic, and are seeking a full-time Operations and Grant Manager to oversee dental and vision health services. This position will mainly be at our Richland clinic, located in the Richland County Health Department but will float to other sites frequently.Under the direction and supervision of the Senior Director of Operations, the Operations and Grants Manager will manage the three dental clinics and one vision clinic to include grant development and management, program research, budgeting/accounting support, management of databases, and daily operation of clinic activities including compliance with state and federal regulations.The Operations and Grant Manager is a member of a team of committed staff working together to provide exceptional dental and vision care to the uninsured and underinsured in the Midlands. The Operations and Grant Manager is responsible for researching, preparing, submitting, and managing grant proposals/reports that support agency goals and meet funder guidelines and criteria. This person serves as the primary grant writer, manages funder relationships, engages in compliance reporting, and supports special project initiatives. This position requires strong writing, data analysis, program budgeting, project management skills, with an emphasis on outcome measurement. The Operations and Grants Manager &nbsp;is responsible for the management of personnel records, financial, administrative, housekeeping, maintenance; and purchasing functions.
