The role of the Parent Educator is to will deliver the evidence-based Parents as 
Teachers (PAT) curriculum to families through regular in-home visits. The Parent 
Educator will support parents in fostering their child’s development, conduct

Responsibilities: 

ï· Conduct 30–40 home visits per month to families with young children;

Subcontract Management<ul><li>Oversee the lifecycle of inbound grants and subcontract agreements, including proposal development support, managing partnership agreements, compliance monitoring, performance tracking, and reporting.</li><li>Ensure appropriate systems and infrastructure exist to manage grant documentation, deliverables, deadlines, and compliance requirements.</li><li>Collaborate with Finance and administrative functions to track grant budgets, invoices, and reimbursement processes.</li></ul>Data Evaluation &amp; Systems Oversight<ul><li>Oversee Impact data and resource management staff to ensure effective data collection, quality assurance, analysis, and visualization of outcomes.</li><li>Champion a culture of learning by using data insights, research, and evaluation practices to drive decision-making and continuous program improvement.</li><li>Lead efforts to standardize shared measurement systems and processes across internal Impact teams and collaborative initiatives.</li></ul>Community Partnerships &amp; Collective Impact<ul><li>Collaborate with Impact directors, community partners, and coalitions to identify gaps, emerging needs, and strategic opportunities for greater alignment and coordination.</li><li>Represent UWGK in local, regional, and statewide coalitions and committees, serving as a thought leader in systems-building, equity-centered impact, and cross-sector partnership strategies.</li><li>Build and sustain strong relationships with public agencies, nonprofit partners, and funders to advance shared goals and maximize community resources.</li><li>Partner with the Community Investments team to monitor and update UWGK’s impact agenda and to align short and long-term impacts and outcomes with outbound-grant-funded partners.</li></ul>Communications &nbsp;&amp; External Engagement<ul><li>Partner with Communications and Advancement staff to develop compelling storytelling, case studies, reports, and data-driven messaging that demonstrate UWGK’s impact and enhance donor and stakeholder engagement.</li><li>Support fundraising strategies by providing impact insights, outcome data, and project and partner successes to Advancement teams.</li><li>Ensure consistent and authentic communication of program outcomes, impact, and lessons learned across channels and audiences.</li><li>Support strong UWGK governance, including building relationships with the Board of Directors and committee volunteers, facilitation of impact committees, and providing strategic updates and leading decision-making with the board and committees on community initiatives.</li></ul>Budget &amp; POSITION SUMMARY&nbsp;(Eligible for Hybrid/3 days in office - Alexandria, VA)&nbsp;Under minimal supervision, the Payroll Manager is responsible for diverse tasks in support UWW’s payroll processing. These include payroll-related journal entries, bank account reconciliations and maintenance of payroll/accounting records. Must be detail-oriented and organized with the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF POSITION<ul><li>Run semi-month end-to-end payroll in ADP Workforce Now, across multiple states and countries ensure accuracy in tax withholdings, direct deposits, and overtime.&nbsp;</li><li>Set up and process all wage garnishments including communication/updates to affected employees.</li><li>Assist employees with payroll-related inquiries including deductions, accruals, and timesheets.</li><li>Validate payroll data flows between ADP and internal systems.</li><li>Keep detailed payroll records and support internal/external audits, as needed.</li><li>Reconcile, investigate, and resolve discrepancies, including off-cycle and manual adjustments.</li><li>Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage &amp; hour laws (regular pay, final pay, PTO, overtime, etc).</li><li>Manage multi-state tax setups (including SUI, SDI, local taxes) and ensure accurate filings.</li><li>Review, process and reconcile all year-end activities to include W2’s, tax withholdings, deduction totals, etc.&nbsp;</li><li>Prepare and review payroll-related general ledger entries, labor allocations and reconciliations</li><li>Work closely with HR and Finance departments to coordinate payroll-related activities and resolve any discrepancies.</li><li>Facilitate the payroll section new hire onboarding.</li><li>Generate ad hoc payroll reports and assist with special projects as needed</li><li>Produce payroll reports, dashboards, and insights to support decision-making.</li></ul>JOB REQUIREMENTS<ul><li>Bachelor degree with a minimum of 8 years of payroll experience, including reconciliations.&nbsp;</li><li>Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws.</li><li>Meticulous attention to detail</li><li>Ability to prioritize strict deadlines</li><li>High level of discretion and responsiveness</li><li>Excellent communication and customer service skills</li><li>Experience processing payroll through ADP Workforce a plus</li></ul>This job description describes the general nature and level of work performed by employees assigned to this position.
