The 211 Community Resource Database Associate (Associate) will develop and maintain relationships with agencies and community groups that assist all populations, with an emphasis but not limited to service providers in Wisconsin. CFO Job Description 


 • CPA or CMA certification preferred. 
 • Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). 
 • Experience with Accrual based accounting principles. 
 • Minimum of fifteen years of experience in financial management with a minimum of five 

years in the non-profit sector. 
 • Strong understanding of non-profit accounting principles and regulations. 
 • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 
 • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
 • Experience with grant management and fundraising. 
 • Ability to lead and manage a team. 
 • Commitment to the excellence of the mission of UWSN. 
 • Experience with financial software and systems (MIP, Acumatica, and Salesforce preferred) 
 • Knowledge of fundraising and donor management practices. 
 • Experience with financial planning and forecasting. 

 
Technical Knowledge and Equipment 
 • Proficient computer skills including the ability to type a minimum of 45 WPM, and has a 5-10 

years of experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams. 15+ years of 
experience with financial management software and CRM systems. Ability to implement new 
technologies to improve processes. 

 • The incumbent in this position may operate any/all of the following equipment: telephone, cell 
phone, fax machine, computer, printer and related equipment, copy machine, audio-visual 
equipment, calculator. 

 • Must have a vehicle, valid driver’s license, and automobile insurance. 
 
WORK ENVIRONMENT 
The incumbent may have some local travel (10% - 25%) via personal vehicle. The environment for 
this position when not traveling is in an office that is clean and comfortable. It may include some 
minor annoyances such as noise, odors, drafts, etc. 
 
PHYSICAL ACTIVITY 
In the course of performing this work, the incumbent will spend substantial time standing, sitting, 
speaking, and listening. This position requires regular lifting and/or movement of up to 10 pounds 
and occasionally lifting and/or movement of up to 25 pounds.
