<h2>Position Summary&nbsp;</h2>The Resource Development Manager reports to the Senior Vice President of Resource Development and will play a critical role in the management of United Way of Palm Beach County’s corporate workplace fundraising campaigns.&nbsp; This position will oversee a defined portfolio of corporate relationships to support the total annual workplace revenue goals. Workplace revenue is comprised of employee giving campaigns, workplace-led special events, and corporate gifts. The Resource Development Manager is expected to develop, cultivate, and manage new and existing corporate relationships as part of the overall fundraising strategy.&nbsp;The ideal candidate thrives in a forward-facing role, building relationships and providing excellent customer service.&nbsp;This position will work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders as well as work externally with a defined segment of corporate industries to aid in their corporate social responsibility initiatives. POSITION SUMMARY 
 
The VITA Program Coordinator is a member of United Way of Greenville County’s Community Impact team and is 
responsible for administering the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program in Greenville County. The VITA 
Program Coordinator will oversee implementation of VITA services at partner sites during the season and operate 
year-round tax services at the Opportunity Center.

Location: Greenville, SC

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES 
 

Volunteer and Client Engagement, Support, and Retention 
 - Serve as the main contact for clients and volunteers, responding promptly to inquiries. 
 - Develop initiatives to engage and retain volunteers, ensuring they feel valued and supported. 
 - Regularly communicate with volunteers to provide support, recognize achievements, and gather feedback. 
 - Create and manage recruitment strategies, including public presentations and events. 
 - Develop and deliver training sessions for volunteers and AmeriCorps members, including presentation materials. 
 

Site Coordination, Staff &amp; Shift Management 
 - Hire, train, and supervise seasonal site coordinators to ensure effective VITA service delivery. 
 - Plan and manage site and volunteer schedules, and coordinate events. 
 - Ensure appropriate staffing for each shift, being on-call when necessary. 
 - Oversee site setup and closure, managing inventory, supplies, and technology. 
 - Provide technical support to volunteers, AmeriCorps members, and clients. 
 - Troubleshoot minor technology issues at sites, including printer, network, and laptop malfunctions. 
 - Address routine site issues and refer complex problems to the appropriate staff. 
 - Coordinate the distribution, collection, and inventory of VITA supplies and equipment. 
 

Operations &amp; Compliance

 -Assists VITA program leadership to design and implement tax assistance models (e.g., virtual or drop-off services) 
using tools like GetYourRefund.

 • At least three years of professional experience required. Prior volunteer management experience is strongly 

preferred.

POSITION SUMMARY 

The Director of Volunteer Engagement at United Way of Greenville County (UWGC) leads the strategic 
development and execution of volunteer engagement efforts, ensuring that stakeholders are effectively 
mobilized to support the mission of UWGC. 

This is an important and complex role that requires the successful candidate to be a skilled multitasker and 
masterful communicator who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. It goes without saying 
you must be a people person who enjoys real collaboration with others. Being creative, flexible and 
resourceful are also very helpful attributes for success in this role. 

This position works very closely with several key internal departments including development, corporate 
engagement, events, and marketing. While the position reports to the Chief Philanthropy Officer, the 
director of volunteer engagement has regular direct interaction with the CEO and other members of the 
executive leadership team. Externally, the director of volunteer engagement will have regular interaction 
with UWGC board members, leaders of various volunteer committees and projects, as well as individuals 
within partner companies and organizations.

Provide appropriate follow-up to move the relationship forward</li><li>Maintain a solid understanding of United Way programs and initiatives. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS • Operations Management • Participate as a member of C2C backbone team to provide a united, visible and strong presence across the organization to help instill new thinking, focus and prioritize efforts adn operationalize strategic objectives. • Oversee daily operations, ensuring that programs and supports align with C2C’s mission and vision. • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external partners or potential partners. Communicate proactively to provide for day-to-day facilities needs. • Work with the Executive Director and other staff on accurate and timely completion and/or approval or organizational documents (e.g. request forms, expense reimbursements, purchasing, etc.) • Develop, implement and analyze internal operational processes and procedures. Identify areas for process improvement and enhancement. • Leadership Table Management • With the Executive Director, provide support to the Leadership Table, including managing committees and communicating with individual volunteers as needed. • Maintain Leadership Table and committee routines, including meeting schedules and documentation. • Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, reports, surveys and presentations. • Develop strategies and routines to drive Leadership Table engagement and development in accordance with Cradle 2 Career’s policy governance model. • Project Coordination • Coordinate the logistics of programs, meetings and events, ensuring all operational needs are met. • Compliance • Ensure compliance with relevant policies, regulations and grant requirements. • Administrative support • Assist in annual budget preparation. • Monitor expenditures to ensure financial accountability. • Work with the Rochester Area Foundation to finalize financial reporting. • Work with third party tech support to provide support for technology systems. • Other duties as assigned.
