The Parents as Teachers (PAT) Parent Educator delivers the essential PAT program functions, to include:
<ul><li>Preparing for and conducting monthly or bi-monthly home visits, including home visits with reoccurring access to vulnerable populations, which will require 27 to 35 visits per month</li>
<li>Partner with families to improve well-being, reflect with families regarding parenting styles, and facilitate discussions and play activities to foster healthy development</li>

</ul>Administrative Compliance for Parents as Teachers

<li>Complete daily timesheets, staff weekly and monthly reports, monthly mileage and expense reports by set deadlines.</li>

OVERVIEW OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary purpose of the Volunteer and Engagement Specialist is to execute the core programs of the United Way of Johnson County through volunteer engagement.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
*Assist the Associate Director with the allocations process including preparation of training, site visit and deliberation materials. Assist in preparation of meetings, and collateral materials. 
	*Attend the agency relations committee to report on the program activities. 
	*Develop and implement programs, services and products for the Operation Bundle Up program including collateral materials, website management, and promotional aspects. Recruit and supervise the committee and event volunteers. With the assistance of volunteers, work with collection sites, the in-kind cleaning company and other entities to collect the needed amount of coats, hats, gloves etc. 
	*Develop and implement programs, services and products for the Fast Track program including collateral materials, website management and all promotional aspects. Recruit and supervise the committee and event volunteers. In order to collect the needed amount of school supplies, work with volunteers to recruit collection sites, and plan /implement the Stuff the Bus Event. Manage the school supply inventory through purchasing, donations, distribution and track carryover inventory. Work with schools to coordinate the individual distribution events including recruitment of appropriate resource partners. 
	*For all programs make sure volunteer information and data is maintained in outlook and Andar. 
	Be the lead staff person in making sure that Charity Tracker is maintained and promoted with potential agencies who might utilize the program.

	*Maintain and update data files on campaign software computer including but not limited to: annual update of major accounts, volunteer committees etc. 
	*Responsible for researching and writing grants to supplement the income stream for the various programs United Way supports.

	*Assist in Special Events such as Campaign Kickoff and Annual Celebration. 
	*Back up to the administrative coordinator for phone coverage.

Program and Volunteer Engagement Specialist Associate 

The Pledge Receivable Accountant reports to the Director, Accounts Receivable and is a member of the Finance department of UWGA. The Finance Department is responsible for the financial reporting, financial oversight, processing of receipts and payments, grants management, contract and legal review, building operations and the overall financial health of UWGA. The Pledge Receivable Accountant updates pledge receivable balances based on daily cash collections. The person in this position interacts with individuals and corporate donors, frequently answering questions and works closely with grant manager and the Office of Development regarding cash receipts.<h2>Position Summary</h2>The Pledge Receivable Accountant position exists to manage the pledge receivable payment process and outstanding balances and to make the daily deposits related to the fundraising campaign and government grants. The Pledge Receivable Accountant interacts with the CFO, Controller, Director, Accounts Receivable, and others within the Finance department. Pledge Receivable Accountant

The Director of Development (DOD) reports to the Vice President of Major Gifts and Multi-Year Giving. The role will be dedicated to supporting the fundraising objectives set forth by the Office of Development (OoD), with a focus on donors and prospects within the Major Gifts Team.&nbsp; The DOD is a key member of the United Way of Greater Atlanta’s Office of Development.&nbsp; Following internal policies and best practices relating to portfolio management and fundraising, the DOD will work collaboratively with multiple Development Teams and other UWGA staff to build and manage a fluid portfolio of 125-150. The DOD has primary responsibility for working with the IID to identify, qualify, cultivate, solicitate, and steward donor prospects of $10,000.00 and above within a dynamic, fast-paced fundraising environment.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The position will work closely with the Major Gifts Team, the Corporate Relations Team as well as colleagues across departments, volunteers, boards, community leaders and a variety of others, and must be collaborative, professional, innovative, responsible and more, while maintaining a strong work ethic and attention to detail.&nbsp; It is also essential that the DOD be well versed in both the art and science of individual fundraising and have significant experience identifying new high-capacity prospects, closing major gifts, collaborating with others to close gifts, and managing individual portfolios.
