POSITION SUMMARY
Leads CRM and data operations, including governance, architecture, and lifecycle management, to ensure data integrity, security, and system optimization across the organization. Designs and delivers analytics, reporting, and AI-enabled solutions while building data literacy, managing teams, and ensuring ethical, compliant, and strategically aligned use of data to support decision-making.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF POSITION
An individual must be able to perform each essential duty listed below at a satisfactory level:

  • Lead CRM administration, database operations, and system optimization.
  • Oversee data governance implementation including standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Establish and enforce organization-wide data standards, definitions, and accountability structures (data owners, data stewards).
  • Ensure data integrity through validation, deduplication, and monitoring.
  • Manage the full data lifecycle, including data collection, storage, usage, and archival practices.
  • Design and deliver reporting, dashboards, and analytics that provide actionable insights and support strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Standardize key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting frameworks across departments to ensure consistency and clarity.
  • Support the evaluation and integration of AI-enabled tools where appropriate to enhance analytics, segmentation, and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure ethical and compliant use of AI and data systems.
  • Design and maintain a scalable data architecture that supports system integration, reduces redundancy, and enables efficient data flow across platforms.
  • Manage data teams, including DBA and Data Managers.
  • Build data literacy across the organization and drive adoption of data tools, ensuring consistent and effective use of systems and reporting practices.
  • Support data security, privacy compliance, and risk mitigation.
  • Assist with budgeting and vendor management for data platforms.
  • Partner with internal departments (Development, Marketing, Finance, Community Impact) to define data needs, reporting requirements, and system improvements.
  • Serve as a key translator between technical systems and business users to ensure alignment between data capabilities and organizational needs.
  • Ensure human oversight of AI-driven decisions.
  • Maintain transparency and documentation of AI/data usage.
  • Support audits, compliance reviews, and risk assessments.
  • Promote ethical data use across all departments.
  • Ensure governance frameworks are actively enforced and consistently applied across the organization.
  • Identified as essential, requiring prompt and effective action during critical situations to ensure the safety and well-being of the community.
  • Maintain client and staff confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA, FIPA, PHI, PII requirements.
  • Contribute to overall organizational success by performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Job requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology or related field required, or equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered in lieu of degree. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Seven to ten years of progressive experience in CRM, database management, and data leadership roles.
  • Seven years of supervisory or coaching experience required.
  • Demonstrated experience administering and optimizing Salesforce.
  • Strong knowledge of data governance principles, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Experience with AI-enabled analytics tools and applying data-driven insights to support business decisions.
  • Working knowledge of technology infrastructure, enterprise systems, and cybersecurity concepts.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled tools and their practical application within data ecosystems preferred.
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office and other related technology required.
  • Skilled in developing and executing strategies that align with organizational goals and drive long-term innovation.
  • Strong project management skills with expertise in planning, organizing, and executing initiatives from concept to completion.
  • Skilled in developing, implementing, and maintaining policies that promote consistency, compliance, and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Exemplary integrity with a strong ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Public speaking and presentation experience required.
