STATEMENT OF THE JOB:
This role is accountable for achieving fundraising goals within a portfolio of corporate campaign accounts, individual donors of all levels, including major gifts, and other revenue sources, utilizing year-round strategies to build and maintain superior relationships, cultivate donors, and engage community members in the work of United Way of Greater Toledo to meet and exceed revenue goals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
<ul><li>Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors and prospects through visits and other forms of direct personal contact in accordance with performance targets.</li>
<li>Inspire and mobilize individual and corporate donors to give, advocate, and volunteer by discovering their interests and proposing alignment with our mission and activities.</li>
<li>Utilize knowledge gathered from donor meetings to develop and implement year-round strategies to engage, cultivate, and steward individual, workplace, and corporate donors.</li>
<li>Develop and implement long-term strategies for building relationships, deepening engagement, and increasing revenue generation from a portfolio of major donors ($10,000+) and high-performing corporate partners.</li>
<li>Engage new or lapsed corporate partners and individual donor prospects by involving stakeholders with our work in creative and strategic ways.</li>
<li>Work with committees of volunteers to aid in donor prospecting and engagement efforts with corporations and individuals.</li>
<li>Deepen individual donor involvement through cultivation and solicitation of planned gifts.</li>
<li>Propose and execute on short-term and long-range strategic fund-raising goals and objectives.</li>
<li>Develop and manage volunteer and donor stewardship programs that help forward goals of the Resource Development team.</li>
<li>Attend and provide support to donor cultivation and fundraising events as needed.</li>
<li>Create and implement prospect research and cultivation strategies to maximize potential for corporate and individual giving.</li>
<li>Partner with Community Impact staff to understand current program innovations and align them with funding opportunities for donors and prospects.</li>
<li>Work with other departments to ensure cross-functional collaboration and information-sharing.</li>
<li>Maintain Andar database as a tool to help build relationships by keeping accurate and up-to-date account records.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Utilize Andar to support data-informed decision-making about workplace accounts and analyze donor information for trends, gaps, and opportunities for revenue growth.</li>

</ul>QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree with at least four (4) years’ experience in fundraising, sales, or relationship building (nonprofit fundraising preferred).</li>

Development Officer

Overall Purpose of this Role: The Project Manager is responsible for implementing processes, coordinating internal donor relations activities and maintaining data integrity in support of departmental efforts. This role will collaborate effectively cross-departmentally to help advance the organization’s fundraising initiatives and ensure cohesion between all areas.&nbsp;
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Donor Relations
<ul><li>Serve as a key stakeholder in managing the organization’s donor recognition and stewardship plan for donors of all levels, ensuring that the donor experience fulfills the HFUW’s strategic imperative.</li>
<li>Work closely with Senior Executive Assistant to the President and CEO to facilitate correspondence and outreach with current and prospective donors.</li>
<li>Provide administrative functions related to donor relations including the printing and assembly of mail items.</li>
<li>Coordinate with the Finance Department on donor relations and event sponsor related billing and collections as appropriate.</li>
<li>Provide telephone support for the Resource Development team. including but is not limited to answering calls, recording, and delivering accurate messages, referring complaints and requests for information to appropriate staff, and following up as needed.</li>
<li>Prepare draft communication, edit and process outgoing correspondence, including mass mailing items and any additional communications and marketing materials.&nbsp;</li>

What You Will Do
The Executive Director leads the organization, supporting the volunteer Board of Directors in the development and implementation of a strategic plan for growth in resources, convening key community stakeholders, and solving the community’s most complex problems.
The Executive Director leads all fundraising and campaign initiatives, as well as marketing and brand messaging. This includes developing strong relationships with local businesses, industries, and individual donors.

Position Summary
United Way of Central Indiana is seeking a Research &amp; Data Operations Specialist to join our Strategic Intelligence &amp; Information (SII) division. The Research &amp; Data Operations Specialist will play a key role in supporting the SII division's mission to provide data-driven insights that help United Way to achieve its goals. Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Lead the strategic development and execution of the SII team's operational processes, procedures, and practices.</li>

<li>Assist the Impact, Community, and Fundraising data teams on research, data organization, minor data manipulation, and data prep for analytical projects.</li>
<li>Manage the Data Insights &amp; Storytelling Hub (DISH).</li>
<li>Implement, execute, and optimize the SharePoint site for the department, ensuring clear communication throughout the entire organization.</li>
<li>Provide operational support in the documentation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS), and project organizations in MS Teams to support the historical documentation of projects for future records.</li>
<li>Stay abreast of key issues, evidence-based best practices, and research to inform and shape current and future investments, initiatives, and programs that support outcomes for individuals and households throughout Central Indiana.</li>
