POSITIONThe Development Officer, Affinity Groups (DOAG) assists with the identification of and prioritizes opportunities for new relationships with new and established clients for all UWBG products and services. The DOAG develops and nurtures networks to build and maintain a pipeline of prospects. The DOAG is responsible for the execution, in partnership with the Resource Development (RD) team, the strategic oversight and implementation of UWBG’s resource expansion strategy as defined by leadership staff. This role will establish and manage fundraising targets, aid in the development of strong sales tools and products, and work with development operations to track metrics to ensure targets are being met across the department. The position will focus on growth in membership and revenue within Women’s United, Young Leaders Society, and Tocqueville Society and will be responsible for non-managed UWBG workplace campaigns.&nbsp; ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS &nbsp;<ul><li>Meets the fundraising goals of the United Way of the Bluegrass through effective personal and team portfolio account management.</li><li>Travels to assigned communities to conduct renewable and new business a minimum of two days per week.</li><li>Effectively manages, solicits, cultivates, and grows assigned portfolio of individuals.</li><li>Identifies prospective partners, initiates, and builds relationships with prospects.</li><li>Negotiates terms that deliver value to donors of UWBG.</li><li>Responsible for developing and prospecting potential new clients and converting these relationships into increased engagement and revenue for UWBG.</li><li>Responsible for timely communication with the other Resource Development staff, Vice President, Resource Development, President &amp; Chief Executive Officer, and internal/external customers.</li><li>Conducts ongoing identification, recruitment, and activation of an influential, financially strong, and inclusive volunteer leadership base to support the campaign.</li><li>Development of year-round pipelines and cultivation plans for major gift prospects.</li><li>Meets monthly, quarterly, and annual measurable goals and objectives.</li><li>Responsible for delivering on business development and relationship management goals and metrics for team.</li><li>Participate in speaking engagements about Affinity Groups and Leadership Giving engagement during trainings and company events, as needed.</li><li>Track, maintain and provide reports on membership numbers and dollars raised from all affinity groups, and reconcile budget reports with the Finance department monthly.</li><li>Continuously build awareness and engagement of UWBG programs and affinity groups.</li><li>Plan and execute donor engagement events (networking, professional development, and volunteer projects) per year in coordination with volunteer committees to demonstrate and exemplify the mission and community impact of United Way.&nbsp;</li><li>Determine engagement and event plan for the year to include maintaining budget, processing invitations, tracking RSVPs, managing the registration process, tracking attendance, and assuming responsibility for analysis and metrics of affinity group engagement throughout the year. Event preparation will also include helping with nametags, decor, food, materials, speaker, and sponsorship coordination.</li><li>Actively engage donors and prospects through events designed to cultivate members and enhance relationships. STATEMENT OF THE JOB:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Overall Purpose of this Role: The Project Manager is responsible for implementing processes, coordinating internal donor relations activities and maintaining data integrity in support of departmental efforts. This role will collaborate effectively cross-departmentally to help advance the organization’s fundraising initiatives and ensure cohesion between all areas.&nbsp;

Donor Relations

<ul><li>Advance the community impact work of United Way by seeking partnerships with multiple sectors and aligning resources toward program and initiatives that promote family economic well-being in the Eastern Area.</li>
<li>Coordinate United Way led or supported local and regional initiatives as they work in Clermont and Brown Counties.</li>
<li>Maintain relationships with funded partners and support capacity building and development of partners in conjunction with the UWGC Impact team.</li>
</ul>Community Engagement
<ul><li>Provide staff leadership to the Action Council and other Eastern Area volunteer committees.</li>
<li>Represent United Way on various local committees (business and non-profit) that assist in advancing our mission of supporting economic well-being.</li>
<li>Provide local coordination with UWGC regional team for areas of marketing, advocacy, agency relations and donor relations.</li>
</ul>Administration/Operations
<ul><li>Participate in UWGC organizational leadership and operational activities.</li>
</ul>Minimum Qualifications:
<ul><li>Bachelor's degree is preferred; a master’s degree is desirable; or equivalent experience.</li>
<li>Minimum of five years’ work experience in human service organizations or community leadership.</li>
<li>Community problem-solving, agency and community relations, financial management, and fundraising experience preferred.</li>
<li>High proficiency in oral and written communication and excellent interpersonal skills.</li>
<li>Strong proficiency in MS Office/Teams; SCRM experience preferred.</li>
<li>Occasional local travel to events within the regional area.</li>

Director, Eastern Area

United Way of Greater Cincinnati has an immediate opening for a Team Coordinator / Senior Administrative Assistant to performs a wide range of administrative duties. Administers programs, projects and/or processes when initiative and judgment are often required in absence of specific directions.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
<ul><li>Provides administrative support to the Resource Development team including expense report management, calendar scheduling, copying, filing, mailing, and other tasks.</li>
<li>Coordinates department work systems and processes including maintaining and preparing invoices and check requests, credit card reconciliation, reimbursements, sorts and distributes mail, tracks and orders office supplies, and arranges and coordinates travel accommodations.</li>
<li>Coordinates and arranges meetings, prepares agendas, handouts, meeting minutes, reserves and prepares facilities including catering as needed, and overall coordination, set-up and execution.</li>
<li>Produces and coordinates general and bulk mailings in support of customer engagement.</li>
<li>Maintains confidential records in donor relations systems as needed.</li>
<li>Receptionist rotation.</li>
<li>Other special projects and committees as assigned.</li>
</ul>Minimum Qualifications:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
<ul><li>High school degree or equivalent plus two years of college or professional certification preferred.</li>
<li>Minimum four years’ administrative experience.</li>
<li>High-level Microsoft Office and database experience with proven ability to quickly learn and use both common and proprietary office computer programs (e.g., MS-CRM).</li>
<li>Should possess strong organization, project coordination, customer service, and problem-solving skills.</li>
<li>Attention to detail essential.</li>
<li>Ability to work well with a variety of volunteers, staff and agency/community partner representatives.</li>
<li>Ability to establish/deliver on priorities and maintain confidentiality as required.</li>
<li>Some physical exertion may be required in setting up meeting space.</li>
</ul>WORKING CONDITIONS:
<ul><li>Normal office environment with little exposure to dust, noise, temperature, and the like.</li>
<li>Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.</li>
<li>Occasional local travel to off-site events outside normal business hours.</li>
<li>Extended viewing of a computer monitor.</li>
