Purpose of Position 
Under the supervision of the Manager, Partner Engagement the Resource Coordinator is primarily responsible for 
managing and maintaining relationships with service agencies listed in 211OC’s resource databases including 
keeping up the accuracy of information, adding new agencies and services, and recruiting into GetHelpOC closed 
loop referral partners. 
 
Key Duties and Responsibilities 

 • Manage and develop expertise of 211OC’s GetHelpOC: Community Information Exchange and iCarol 
resource databases of all front-end, back-end and administrative features and functions 

 • Maintain and ensure integrity of records in the resource databases 
 • Build relationships with agency and program staff, provide GetHelpOC demos, and encourage participation 

in GetHelpOC for closed loop referrals. 
 • Initiate organization information updates in the 211OC resource databases, provide and follow up on 

requests with agency directors and managers 
 • Develop a working knowledge of Alliance of Information and Referral Systems (AIRS) Taxonomy and 

Standards and how they are applied in the 211OC Resource Department 
 • Research services available in the community and assist agencies with completion and updates of 

application and forms 
 • Develop and maintain relationships with Agencies/Service Providers 
 • Assist with 211RIDE program updates 
 • Attend outreach events promoting 211OC’s services 
 • Other duties as assigned. Responsibilities may change under manager discretion.

 Job Title: Senior Marketing 
Manager Reporting to: Senior Director, Marketing

Purpose of Position 
We are seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Manager to join our team. 
 
The Senior Marketing Manager will play a key role in shaping and maintaining a cohesive brand image for 
Orange County United Way across the community. This role will focus on supporting the marketing and 
communication needs for our Development and Philanthropy teams, signature events, and other key 
marketing initiatives. The successful candidate will manage the end-to-end execution of marketing 
projects, both print and digital, with a hands-on approach to ensuring high-quality output. 
 
In addition, the Sr. Marketing Manager will work closely with and manage a Marketing Specialist, serving 
as their direct supervisor. This includes leading, mentoring, and developing the Marketing Specialist, 
ensuring alignment on project goals, and fostering a collaborative team environment. 
 
Key responsibilities include understanding the unique needs and goals of each project, documenting 
requirements, setting and prioritizing timelines, and ensuring on-time delivery. This role requires strong 
vendor management skills, the ability to work collaboratively across internal teams, and the capability to 
lead both independently and alongside consultants. The Senior Marketing Manager will be expected to 
lead in the execution of projects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality results that align with 
organizational objectives and uphold brand integrity. 
 
Key Duties and Responsibilities 

 • Serve as the lead point of contact for our Development, Grant, Philanthropy, Event and 
Corporate Engagement teams for all marketing requests. 

 • Develop and implement marketing strategies to execute projects timely and successfully. 
Understand the needs, the goals, and the audience to provide guidance and deliver efficient 
solutions. 

 • Oversee budgets and timelines. Responsible for driving projects to on-time completion and 
communicate changes to project timelines, scope, and budget when applicable. 

 • Track projects on the marketing project traffic tool and update status weekly. 
 • Execute projects from concept to completion. 
 • Responsible for all the assets development (email marketing, video production, photoshoots, 

event support, advertising, collaterals, content development, event social media plan, website 
updates, promotional items, etc.). 

 • Understand the principles of branding and design to create and update marketing materials as 


needed. 
 • Create tracking and prepare marketing reports to brief stakeholders on key performance 

indicators (KPIs). 
 • Support and manage other marketing projects as needed.

The Mission and Opportunity
211 NorCal operates in Shasta, Tehama, and Siskiyou counties and provides free social services information and referrals to residents 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. The service is available through call, web (211norcal.org), and text services. Common referrals are for housing; food; utility assistance; counseling and addiction services; free or low-cost legal assistance, and transportation.
211 NorCal is experiencing growth due to increased awareness of the service; new contracts for outreach on specific health and child development issues; planned expansion to neighboring counties (for example, Plumas County service is envisioned within the next 12-18 months), and 211’s utility as an easy-to-remember number for public information during times of disaster. Because 211 is always “on,” and because its scope can encompass any social services need, possibilities for service and expansion abound.
United Way of Northern California (UWNC) operates 211 NorCal. The program is a central element of the agency’s mission to fight for the health, education, and financial stability of all residents, and to be there during times of crisis. Through the maintenance of the 2-1-1 database, UWNC connects with virtually all social services and emergency response agencies in the region. Job Summary
The 211 Program Manager will ensure operational excellence of the 211 social services helpline and its related services. The Program Manager will supervise the resource database team and oversee 211 NorCal’s relationship with its outsourced Call Center. Working closely with the UWNC President &amp; CEO, Senior Director of Programs, and the agency’s senior leadership team, the Program Manager will help shape strategic direction for the service, looking for new opportunities to expand mission and revenue. <ul><li>Ensure United Way’s physical property, telecommunications systems, and information technology are well-maintained and meet the needs of staff, tenants, and community members.</li>
<li>Proactively ensure ongoing maintenance and security of building and parking lot. Maintain prioritized list of maintenance needs. Ensure that items are assigned and completed in a timely and cost-effective manner, and communicated to appropriate stakeholders.</li>
<li>Provide oversight to community spaces and warehouse, creating and reinforcing guidelines for use so that all users can keep the spaces organized and ready for use at all times.</li>
<li>Manage processes and policies related to building tenants (long term contract as well as event groups), with the goal of a fully-leased property.</li>
<li>Oversee procurement and vendor relationships related to building maintenance and security as well as telecom services and information technology. Assess vendors and systems regularly to ensure alignment with UW’s needs. Regular vendors include, but are not limited to, janitorial, security, and IT support.</li>
<li>Manage budget for facilities and technology equipment purchase, maintenance, and contracts. Ensure timely processing of all relevant receivables and payables.</li>
<li>Maintain availability to staff for basic IT support such as troubleshooting equipment, and determining appropriate vendor for escalation as needed.</li>
<li>Manage the renewal of relevant property and liability insurances; report and track claims as needed.</li>
<li>Maintain good working relationship with relevant licensing and government agencies.</li>
</ul>Supervisory Responsibility
This position will oversee two internal staff as well as external IT, security, janitorial and vendor contracts.

Position Summary:&nbsp;The Resource Development (RD) Assistant will primarily provide a leadership role in the management of the donor stewardship journey in order to achieve individual, department and company goals.
