The GIV program accepts in-kind donations from local companies and national retailers that are available to nonprofits for free. Donations range from office furniture and supplies to housewares, hygiene items, holiday décor and much more. Last year, 280 nonprofits visited GIV and obtained over $3 million worth of free goods, which helped lower their overhead expenses and funnel more financial resources into programming to meet the needs of their clients.&nbsp;Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, following all safety protocols.&nbsp;</li><li>Communicate effectively and positively with not-for-profit agencies, volunteers, and local donors; build strong relationships.&nbsp;</li><li>Regularly consolidate, refill, and adjust locations of merchandise in the warehouse.</li><li>Support warehouse staff with volunteer groups, donation pick-ups, and duties needed for accurate inventory control.</li><li>Perform outbound counts for the items being obtained by the non-profit agencies.</li><li>Assist with various other tasks necessary to ensure GIV program is successful and impactful.&nbsp;</li></ul>Requirements and Qualifications:<ul><li>Full-time, primarily Monday-Friday during normal business hours; however, some flexibility is required to occasionally be available early mornings, evenings or weekends</li><li>Position is carried out primarily in a warehouse environment.&nbsp; Extended period of standing is required, along with ability to lift up to 60 pounds. <h2>Position Summary&nbsp;</h2>The Resource Development Manager reports to the Senior Vice President of Resource Development and will play a critical role in the management of United Way of Palm Beach County’s corporate workplace fundraising campaigns.&nbsp; This position will oversee a defined portfolio of corporate relationships to support the total annual workplace revenue goals. Workplace revenue is comprised of employee giving campaigns, workplace-led special events, and corporate gifts. The Resource Development Manager is expected to develop, cultivate, and manage new and existing corporate relationships as part of the overall fundraising strategy.&nbsp;The ideal candidate thrives in a forward-facing role, building relationships and providing excellent customer service.&nbsp;This position will work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders as well as work externally with a defined segment of corporate industries to aid in their corporate social responsibility initiatives. Purpose of Position:&nbsp;Northeast Florida is home to over 425,000 active-duty servicemembers, veterans, and their families, representing nearly 25% of all households. Their needs are diverse, and navigating available services can be challenging. Basic referrals often fall short. This role provides peer-based care coordination to help veterans access and sustain the support they need.The Veteran Care Coordinator (VCC) is a veteran-peer and system of care navigator.
