The Parents as Teachers (PAT) Parent Educator delivers the essential PAT program functions, to include:

which provides essential hygiene services to individuals experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity. 
A reliable, detail-oriented individual who’s passionate about making a positive impact in the community 
is essential to this role. 
 
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

 • Transportation: Safely and efficiently drive a large pickup truck towing a 24-foot shower trailer to 
and from designated sites following all traffic laws and safety regulations. 

 • Setup: Configure the shower trailer at event locations, ensuring proper connections to water and 
power sources for seamless operation. 

 • Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance on the trailer, including emptying grey and black 
water tanks, checking tire pressure, fluid levels, and overall condition to ensure reliability. 

 • Cleaning: Maintain a sanitary and welcoming environment by thoroughly cleaning the interior and 
exterior of the trailer after each event. Stock and replenish supplies. 

 • Customer Service: Deliver outstanding customer service to event organizers and attendees, 
proactively addressing questions and concerns to enhance the overall experience. 

KEY REQUIREMENTS: 
 • Valid South Carolina driver’s license with a clean driving record. 
 • Experience operating large vehicles such as trailers or RVs. 
 • Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs. 
 • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

The 211 Care Coordinator assists residents in connecting to social service support by assessing needs and making referrals within a network of partnering organizations. <ul><li>Leads and coordinates volunteer projects and processes in support of overall community impact objectives, including management and coordination of volunteer software, outcome reporting and evaluation, department planning meetings and communication, and others as needed.</li>
<li>Provides volunteer coordination administrative support; maintains accurate records and files, schedules meetings and sets appointments, assists with communication and follows-through on specific tasks.</li>
<li>Coordinates, compiles, and prepares reports, summaries, spreadsheets, and other tools to communicate Volunteer Coordination work.</li>
<li>Maintains Volunteer Coordination Department records, rosters, and volunteer information accurately and in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Recognizes volunteers on a monthly basis through electronic media, newsletters, and press releases.</li>
</ul>Qualifications:
<ul><li>Education:&nbsp; Associate’s degree in business, marketing, sales, communication, or related field preferred.</li>
<li>Experience: Previous administrative/office experience required. Experience in basic management, financial management, business, communications, marketing, human services, and/or human resources preferred. Working knowledge of Otter Tail &amp; Wadena Counties and visibility within the community required.</li>
<li>Skills:&nbsp; Must possess strong skills in verbal and written communication, fund-raising, public relations, and volunteer coordination. Must demonstrate leadership abilities to engage people and be well-organized, enthusiastic, and self-directed.</li>
</ul>Working Conditions
<ul><li>Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Work will require travel and may&nbsp;require occasional overnight travel and weekends and/or evenings.</li>

Area Community Coordinator

United Way of Santa Barbara County seeks a F/T Development Executive (DE) to provide relationship management for various corporate and workplace-based efforts. The DE will manage a portfolio of 60+ workplace relationships and partner in several general fundraising efforts. The ideal candidate will be a passionate, energetic, team-oriented individual with a four-year college degree and at least 1 year of fundraising experience. The DE will increase United Way’s exposure in Santa Barbara County and help advance its mission. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized and self-driven individual with a demonstrated track record in fundraising and the ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines. Excellent oral and written skills are required. Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint are required. Experience with databases desired. The compensation package is competitive.&nbsp;
