The 211 Resource Navigator plays a vital role in helping residents access social services by collecting data, conducting needs assessments and facilitating referrals within a network of community partners. This role is challenging, emotionally demanding and deeply impactful. Resource Navigators provide a broad-based human services assessment, making appropriate service referrals through a referral platform and ensuring follow-up to confirm referrals are utilized effectively. The 211 Resource Navigator’s responsibilities may evolve to align with new community needs and United Way initiatives, ensuring flexible and responsive support to residents. All calls to 211 are recorded for quality and training purposes. KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:<ul><li>Data Tracking &amp; Advocacy: Secure consent and build caller profiles for longitudinal records. Collect and record data on referrals, including types, demographics, and agency responses, to contribute to daily and weekly reports. Act as an advocate for residents, ensuring they are connected to the resources they need.</li><li>Client Support &amp; Referrals: Compassionately assess the needs of community members and provide referrals for immediate and ongoing support through our network of trusted community partners. Referrals will be primarily made via a technology platform. Handle challenging and sensitive calls, including mental health crisis, abuse or neglect calls assessing clients’ needs, providing warm transfers to specialized community services and managing complex, emotional or high-stress situations with care and professionalism.</li><li>Program Screening: Proactively conduct screenings for designated programs, considering appropriateness and availability to community members.&nbsp;</li><li>Collaboration &amp; Program Improvement: Work closely with the Director of Community Connections, 211 Sr. Manager(s) and other United Way staff to evaluate and enhance 211 operations, including call quality and customer satisfaction, contributing to continuous improvement of the program. OVERVIEW OF RESPONSIBILITIES 
	Reporting to the Interim VP of Operations and Administration, this position is responsible for the physical and digital infrastructure at United Way, including maintenance and security of the property, management of tenants, and oversight of information technology vendors and systems. Building and parking lot are owned by United Way and include office space for United Way staff and tenants, community event spaces, and warehouse space. This position supervises the Office Manager and the Facilities Coordinator.

Duties &amp; Responsibilities
<ul><li>Ensure United Way’s physical property, telecommunications systems, and information technology are well-maintained and meet the needs of staff, tenants, and community members.</li>
<li>Proactively ensure ongoing maintenance and security of building and parking lot. Maintain prioritized list of maintenance needs. Ensure that items are assigned and completed in a timely and cost-effective manner, and communicated to appropriate stakeholders.</li>
<li>Provide oversight to community spaces and warehouse, creating and reinforcing guidelines for use so that all users can keep the spaces organized and ready for use at all times.</li>
<li>Manage processes and policies related to building tenants (long term contract as well as event groups), with the goal of a fully-leased property.</li>
<li>Oversee procurement and vendor relationships related to building maintenance and security as well as telecom services and information technology. Assess vendors and systems regularly to ensure alignment with UW’s needs. Regular vendors include, but are not limited to, janitorial, security, and IT support.</li>
<li>Manage budget for facilities and technology equipment purchase, maintenance, and contracts. Ensure timely processing of all relevant receivables and payables.</li>
<li>Maintain availability to staff for basic IT support such as troubleshooting equipment, and determining appropriate vendor for escalation as needed.</li>
<li>Manage the renewal of relevant property and liability insurances; report and track claims as needed.</li>
<li>Maintain good working relationship with relevant licensing and government agencies.</li>
</ul>Supervisory Responsibility
This position will oversee two internal staff as well as external IT, security, janitorial and vendor contracts.
Physical Demands
At times, this position may include periods of extended physical activity such as walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and bending to inspect all aspects of the property, including technology equipment. Position at times requires the ability to lift up to approximately 50 lbs. EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge, Skills and Expertise
<ul><li>Facilities management skills: ability to assess and complete basic maintenance, building, and repair tasks; knowledge of equipment, supplies, and materials used in commercial property maintenance; general understanding of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, security, etc.</li>

Senior Program Manager

United Way of Greater Cincinnati (UWGC) has an immediate opening for a Front Desk and Meeting Coordinator to perform a wide range of administrative and interpersonal duties of a highly responsible and complex nature.
