Budgeting and Forecasting: •In conjunction with the Controller, collaborate with department heads to develop and manage the annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and financial targets. •Prepare regular financial forecasts and projections, monitoring actual performance against budgeted expectations and identifying variances for further analysis. •Provide guidance and support to department heads in monitoring and controlling their budgets,offering insights and recommendations as needed and requested. •Provide financial analysis and support to the leadership team, including financial modeling,profitability analysis, and scenario planning. •Articulate potential risks and their financial implications to help in creating more robust operational strategies. •Demonstrate sound financial acumen through resource allocation based on strategic priorities and budgetary constraints. Cash Flow Management: •Manage cash flow, including monitoring and forecasting cash needs, optimizing investment strategies, and overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. •Establish and maintain relationships with financial institutions and manage banking activities. Compliance and Audit: •Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations, laws, and reporting requirements. •Coordinate and manage external audits, tax filings, and other financial reviews as necessary. Team Development/Leadership: •Oversee, direct, and organize the work of the finance department. •Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality. •Ensure staff receive timely and appropriate training and development. •Establish and monitor staff performance and development goals, assign accountabilities, set objectives, establish priorities, conduct annual performance appraisals, and recommend salary adjustments. •Mentor and develop staff using a supportive and collaborative approach: assign accountabilities;set objectives; establish priorities; and monitor and evaluate results. •Present complex financial information in an understandable way to stakeholders at all levels. OVERVIEW OF RESPONSIBILITIES 
	Reporting to the Interim VP of Operations and Administration, this position is responsible for the physical and digital infrastructure at United Way, including maintenance and security of the property, management of tenants, and oversight of information technology vendors and systems. Building and parking lot are owned by United Way and include office space for United Way staff and tenants, community event spaces, and warehouse space. This position supervises the Office Manager and the Facilities Coordinator.

Duties &amp; Responsibilities
<ul><li>Ensure United Way’s physical property, telecommunications systems, and information technology are well-maintained and meet the needs of staff, tenants, and community members.</li>
<li>Proactively ensure ongoing maintenance and security of building and parking lot. Maintain prioritized list of maintenance needs. Ensure that items are assigned and completed in a timely and cost-effective manner, and communicated to appropriate stakeholders.</li>
<li>Provide oversight to community spaces and warehouse, creating and reinforcing guidelines for use so that all users can keep the spaces organized and ready for use at all times.</li>
<li>Manage processes and policies related to building tenants (long term contract as well as event groups), with the goal of a fully-leased property.</li>
<li>Oversee procurement and vendor relationships related to building maintenance and security as well as telecom services and information technology. Assess vendors and systems regularly to ensure alignment with UW’s needs. Regular vendors include, but are not limited to, janitorial, security, and IT support.</li>
<li>Manage budget for facilities and technology equipment purchase, maintenance, and contracts. Ensure timely processing of all relevant receivables and payables.</li>
<li>Maintain availability to staff for basic IT support such as troubleshooting equipment, and determining appropriate vendor for escalation as needed.</li>
<li>Manage the renewal of relevant property and liability insurances; report and track claims as needed.</li>
<li>Maintain good working relationship with relevant licensing and government agencies.</li>
</ul>Supervisory Responsibility
This position will oversee two internal staff as well as external IT, security, janitorial and vendor contracts.

How You'll Help
Provide professional planning and implementing quality events and functions for donor cultivation, stewardship, and recognition while highlighting the work and mission of Mile High United Way. The Manager will be responsible for the delivery of high-quality events ensuring that the mission, vision, and values of Mile High United Way are reflected in all aspects of planning events. Oversee all donor, signature and programmatic events and including development, implementation and budgeting.
Essential Responsibilities
<ul><li>Responsible for the planning and execution of all signature events including but not limited to Turkey Trot (up to but not limited to 10,000 runners) and Women United Luncheon (up to but not limited to 1,000 attendees).</li>
<li>Manage year-round affinity group sponsorships, events, and overall tracking, including but not limited to the following:
<ul><li>Tocqueville</li>
<li>Women United</li>
<li>LINC/ Catalyst</li>
</ul></li>
<li>Responsible for achieving planned revenue goals for major events and developing new revenue sources for Events
<ul><li>Payment management, invoicing, budgeting and financial administration work</li>

<li>Work collaboratively with the Marketing and Resource Development Teams to develop sponsorship proposals and fulfillment of those proposals for high profile events.</li>
<li>Oversee the production of printed materials and promotional items, including invitations, signage and giveaways</li>
<li>Develop and maintain impact strategy and tactical timeline of all event related tasks, activities and deadlines and be responsible for making sure that deadlines are met</li>
<li>Collaborate with "key players" to establish the design direction for each event, or campaign, ensuring that consistent design and messaging is carried throughout each piece</li>
