United Way of Marion County, Inc.

United Way of Marion County is in North Central Florida. The organization was established in 1961. Our mission has remained the same, and we continue our tradition of working with partner agencies; we also manage several very successful programs. We are a leader in education through Community Partnership Schools and Reading Pals. We address generational poverty through Strong Families, a locally developed and trademarked initiative. Volunteer Individual Tax Assistance is also provided.

The Children's Charity Classic has innovated our community response to the needs of children in Marion County. Marion County is a community of volunteer leaders who choose to give of their time and talent by Living United.
