The Fundraising Data and Administrative Coordinator supports business needs with a strong 

focus on data integrity, donor systems management, and campaign operations (75%), while also 

providing essential administrative support to leadership and fundraising initiatives (25%). This role 

is critical in managing and optimizing platforms such as Andar (inc. ePledge) and GiveSmart to 

support electronic giving, data reporting, donor engagement, and internal coordination.

POSITION DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES

Data &amp; System Support (75%) 

ï· Serve as the primary Andar administrator, providing expert-level guidance, troubleshooting, 

and training to internal staff on key database functions. 

ï· Oversee data quality and conduct regular audits, clean-up projects, and reconciliations 

with Finance to ensure campaign and donor records are accurate. 

ï· Manage donor data flow across third-party platforms, i.e. GiveSmart; maintain and 

segment mailing lists, ensuring alignment with communication strategy. 

ï· Build and execute complex queries to support campaign segmentation, reporting, and 

strategy. 

ï· Lead and support ePledge deployment, troubleshooting issues for workplace campaign 

champions and donors, and serving as a liaison with App Support Services. 

ï· Collaborate with Finance to manage donation records, adjustments, reconciliations, and 

annual audit preparation. 

ï· Execute direct mail and digital campaigns in collaboration with organizational strategy, 

ensuring timing, list accuracy, and technical execution. 

ï· Develop and maintain accurate donor and constituent records, including interaction 

histories and event participation data. 


Administrative Support (25%) 

ï· Provide calendar management, meeting scheduling, and coordination of logistics for 

internal and external stakeholders. 

ï· Manage campaign materials inventory, reordering, and logistics for distribution. 

ï· Support event logistics, donor mailings, and routine data updates resulting from donor 

communications. 

ï· Coordinate scheduling, prepare internal reports and dashboards, and assist in special 

projects related to fundraising and engagement. 

ï· Serve as a point of contact for routine inquiries, redirecting or escalating as appropriate. 


Flexibility 

ï· UWFC is evolving with our changing external environment. Flexibility and adaptability are 

key attributes for this position. This position requires in-office work a minimum of 4 days 

per week. 

ï· A willingness to take on additional duties to ensure the success of the team is essential. 

ï· Occasional local travel may be required with some events/tasks outside of traditional work

General Description: Responsible for the overall support to the marketing department’s 
initiatives with the planning, executing and tracking of marketing and communication 
pieces such as email, event, social media, online donation campaigns or content 
marketing. 
 
Primary Job Responsibilities &amp; Duties: 

1. Assist with developing and managing blog content, video content and social media 
marketing 

2. Responsible for photographing and shooting video for United Way Broward 
fundraising events, volunteer events, community impact events, and special 
programs to communicate to the community. 

3. Maintain United Way of Broward County’s website for content refreshes including: 
updating the events calendar, blog and interior pages to assist with search engine 
optimization. 

4. Will work on marketing materials (digital and print) and marketing opportunities to 
support promotion of United Way Broward initiatives. 

Other Job Duties: 
ï· Content creation for social media platforms including, but not limited to: Facebook, 

Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter 
ï· Create and develops a marketing plan, timetable and performance expectations to 

meet established goals 
ï· Monitor marketing efforts on our social media channels, website and email 

distributions, creates and prepares weekly/monthly metric reports, analyzes and 
interprets data 

ï· Create and implement email marketing campaigns (concept, template creation, 
content, distribution) 

ï· Proficient in digital/website platforms including, but not limited to; Hootsuite, 
Canva, ConstantContact, Trusted Partner or similar digital marketing software tools 

ï· Takes responsibility for other assignments as they arise in the development of 
marketing activities 

ï· Manage sensitive issues and crisis communications 
ï· Assist the Manager of PR/Marketing and the VP of Marketing and Communications 

in execution of marketing program strategies with the Board of Directors, volunteer 
committees, United Way Broward divisions and outside organizations

events, as appropriate 

ï· Create/seek creative opportunities to extend United Way Broward’s message and 
mission to corporations in conjunction with the development staff 

ï· Ensures effective and timely marketing and communications support to United Way 
Broward staff 

ï· Ensures communication efforts adhere to budget and brand guidelines 
ï· Assists in planning/implementing projects, seeing that they are brought to fruition 

within the allocated timeframe and budget 
ï· Writes and edits copy for various applications (print, presentations, ads, social 

media content, talking points, etc.) 
ï· Assures work is performed within established policies and procedures 
ï· Works in a team environment and will have close inter-department relations with 

multi-department managers, developing, planning and implementing events to 
enhance United Way Broward's image 

ï· Attends United Way functions (some may be after hours and/or on the weekend) 
ï· Responsible for video production requests – event videos, social media 

interviews/videos, etc.

ï· Due to the leadership role United Way is called upon to play in the community,

Education &amp; Experience: 

ï· Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Public 
Relations, Nonprofit Management, or a related field. 

ï· Minimum 2–4 years of progressively responsible experience in marketing, 
communications, or public relations, ideally in a nonprofit, community-based, or 
mission-driven organization. 

ï· Proven success in developing and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns 
that drive engagement, increase brand visibility, and support fundraising goals. 

ï· Demonstrated ability to create compelling content for both digital and traditional 
media, including social media, email marketing, print collateral, and press 
releases.
