Senior Impact Manager, Dual Generation Initiative
Dual Gen Specific Tasks
- Provide supervision for a Family Engagement Ambassador(s).
- Perform other duties needed to help drive the success of the Dual Gen Initiative, Community Impact Department and United Way.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of a Fatherhood Engagement strategy.
- Manage the Dual Generation basic needs process and budget line item to ensure partner agencies are aware of and access available funding to support families in successful program completion.
- Recognized as the Subject-Matter-Expert on equitable community change and historical influences for Dual Gen target areas.
- Manage assigned budget line Items (including family engagement and childcare) and provide oversight of any client partners incentives and/or deliverables.
United Way Senior Impact Manager Tasks
- Lead special initiatives supporting Impact work (e.g., education equity, financial stability) and interact with community organizations, educational institutions and public agencies to improve the workforce and educational opportunities for youth, individuals and families.
- Recognized as the Subject-Matter Expert on a UWSA Impact strategy or initiative building awareness, driving participation and providing expertise to staff, clients and volunteers.
- Provide contract oversight for assigned agency partners and establish a Community of Practice.
- Understands and leverages UWSA systems/resources cross departmentally and is fully competent in all aspects of their assigned duties.
- Identifies and sources training and resources to support client success.
- Lead cross-impact council/cross-impact grant and cross-departmental initiatives advancing UWSA collective efforts.
- Support Impact Managers in the development of departmental initiatives and provides guidance in planning, design, and implementation of impact initiatives.
- Collaborate with the UWSA marketing and media team to ensure consistency in logistics, communication and messaging, and to develop year-round collective impact products.
- Serve as staff point of contact for communications including products, printed materials, website, newsletters and social media. Work in collaboration with Impact area leaders, client community partners and UW marketing team to design and develop products, promotional information and presentations. Ensure ongoing communications with all United Way departments.
- Assist Impact area leader with strategic planning and meeting facilitation designed to achieve the goals of the Impact Council/Grant.
- Manage all coordination and communication related to the Impact area work, to include meeting notifications, meeting/ event logistics, meeting/event notes, maintenance of rosters, etc.
- Develop, coordinate and implement outreach events and activities.
- Coordinate and facilitate meetings with partners working collectively to address an issue and support partners in reaching stated goals and outcomes.
- Monitor and evaluate monthly reports and follow up with partners for correction and/or clarification.
- Conduct onsite visits with partner agencies to ensure program fidelity, as needed.
- Make recommendations for corrective action as needed.
- Lead annual Partnership Agreement/Grant Compliance process to include reviewing content of all addenda and compiling for final review and signatures.
- Bachelor’s degree – required / master’s degree – preferred in Business, Health & Human Services, Public Policy or other related field of study.
- Five years or more experience in the human services field.
- Experience developing and leading program evaluation
- Experience staffing a broad cross-section of volunteer leaders and/or non-profit partners.
- Strategic leadership of collective impact efforts.
- Experience in working effectively in multicultural environments.
- Strong relationships in the nonprofit, public and private sectors.
