The Project Lift Manager supports United Way’s mission to improve economic mobility and well-being in Greater Cincinnati. This role focuses on coordinating daily operations, supporting partners, and ensuring that Project LIFT (Lifting and Investing in Families Thriving) runs efficiently and delivers measurable outcomes.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Program Coordination and Operations
- Oversee day-to-day operations of Project LIFT, ensuring activities are organized, documented, and completed on schedule.
- Maintain strong relationships with partner organizations by coordinating collaboration, collecting feedback, and tracking progress.
- Support the use of best practices and research to strengthen service delivery and outcomes.
- Monitor program data and outcomes; prepare regular updates and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Work with the Community Impact team and other internal departments (e.g., marketing, finance, IT) to support program needs and regional activities.
Partner Support and Engagement
- Serve as a main point of contact for Project LIFT network partners, offering technical assistance and routine communication.
- Plan and and lead regular partner meetings and trainings to share updates, discuss challenges, and build shared tools and practices.
- Identify and support capacity-building opportunities for partner organizations to help them meet shared goals.
- Promote collaboration among staff, advocates, families, and community members involved in Project LIFT.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This role may manage one to two team members, either directly or indirectly.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferrable
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in program management or a related role.
- Strong communication, facilitation and leadership skills required.
- Excellent team management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

- Demonstrated ability to implement and grow programs through effective planning, coordination, and follow-through.
- Experience working with external partners to carry out shared goals using collaborative methods (e.g., collective impact).

STARTING SALARY: $55,000 (Final offer dependent on level of experience)
