Location: Ethel F. Beckford Center-16929 SW 104th Avenue, Miami, FL 33157.

Working Schedule: Monday-Friday from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm.

Overview:

This internship offers college students a meaningful opportunity to explore the field of early childhood education while gaining valuable administrative experience. Interns will engage in hands-on learning by supporting day-to-day center operations, assisting with organization and documentation, and working alongside teachers to observe and participate in classroom activities that support young children’s development.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with filing, supply management, and USDA paperwork
  • Organize the supply room and office areas
  • Help teachers observe and support children’s learning and play
  • Track daily attendance and maintain records
  • Answer phones and assist parents and staff
  • Use office software and educational databases for data entry
  • Practice time management, teamwork, and professional conduct

Requirements

• Current college student pursuing education, social work, psychology, or a related field

• Passionate about child development and early learning

• Reliable, organized, and eager to learn

• Friendly and professional in communication

• Comfortable working with young children and in team settings

• Able to follow instructions and work independently when needed

• Available part-time during weekdays

• Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Creole) is a plus, but not required
