The Community Impact Coordinator is an engaged member of the Community Impact and Engagement Team who is results-oriented and detail-focused. The coordinator supports the implementation and day-to-day coordination of United Way’s strategies by helping to execute programs, support partnerships, track data and outcomes, and assist with Community Impact & Investments (CI&I) processes.
Program & Project Coordination
- Serve as the United Way point of contact for assigned programs and initiatives aligned with organizational mission and focus areas.
- Coordinate Financial Stability initiatives, including educating partners, volunteers, and donors about ALICE and sharing relevant information, materials, and updates to increase engagement and understanding.
- Coordinate program activities that support ALICE households, including scheduling and facilitating meetings and events, coordinating outreach logistics, and supporting marketing and communication efforts.
- Assist with community presentations and outreach efforts to increase awareness of available services; may include Spanish-language presentations.
- Coordinate volunteer engagement related to programs and initiatives, including recruitment, scheduling, communication, training, and follow-up in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation of program activities, expenses, and outcomes; prepare forms, correspondence, reports, and presentations as needed.
- Support data collection and outcome tracking for assigned programs and initiatives, including maintaining dashboards and monitoring key performance indicators.
- Track program-related funding and expenses and assist with budget monitoring and reporting.
- Coordinate required program trainings and ensure documentation is properly completed and maintained.
Community Impact & Investments Support
- Provide support for Community Impact & Investments processes, including grant reviews, report tracking, committee and agency meetings, materials preparation, and follow-up communication.
- Maintain communication and documentation with partner agencies related to program delivery and community impact alignment.
- Assist with marketing and outreach efforts by supporting the development and distribution of communication materials.
- Support planning and logistics for events and activities that promote community engagement and awareness.
- Participate in and coordinate community meetings and events as assigned.
- Support the development and maintenance of strategic partnerships with nonprofit and for-profit organizations to strengthen the client pipeline and align community resources.
General
- All team members will actively support disaster response and recovery with specific tasks and assignments, as needed.
