POSITIONA WayPoint Center Coordinator, WayPoint Initiative (WCCWI) assist clients who visit UWBG WayPoint Centers. The role of the WayPoint Coordinator, WayPoint Initiative (WCWI) is to assist clients who visit UWBG WayPoint Center – East End location.UWBG WayPoint Centers are sites strategically located throughout our communities to serve and provide a multi-tiered service delivery approach that connect clients to financial education and financial literacy, free income tax counseling and preparation, and other programmatic services that lead individuals and families towards sustainability, stability, and a thriving lifestyle of success.&nbsp;&nbsp; WayPoint Center Coordinator reports directly to the WayPoint Center Manager ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:<ul><li>Acts as the primary site coordinator or employee of record responsible for: day-to-day management and operations of the center, the routine implementation and execution of standard operational procedures, ensuring the delivery of excellent customer satisfaction and service, and maintaining a professional and inviting workplace environment that is clean and orderly.</li><li>Serves as the primary point of contact to address client needs.</li><li>Collaborates with community partners to provide onsite programs and services within the center.</li><li>Performs professional assessment (intake) for clients through a multi-tiered service delivery approach that connects them to appropriate service providers and subject matter expertise (SME).</li><li>Collaborates with the UWBG 2-1-1 (24/7 365) Health &amp; Human Services Referral network of professionals to access partner services and referrals accordingly.</li><li>Provides public-facing engagement as an UWBG ambassador and community advocate for supporting and transforming the life of others.</li><li>Understands and recognizes the need for growth and expansion opportunities of UWBG program initiatives and occasionally serves as a UWBG representative in the community.</li><li>Adapts to the flexibility needed to work between assigned Waypoint centers and community events/site and other Waypoint centers.&nbsp;</li><li>Serves as the custodian for managing documentation for organizational purposes to include management and reporting for federal and non-federal grants.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.&nbsp;</li></ul>CORE UNITED WAY COMPETENCIESMISSION-FOCUSED - A top priority is to create real social change that leads to better lives and healthier communities. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, etc. The primary office location for this position is Marksbury Family WayPoint Center at the Historic Palmer Pharmacy 400 E. Fifth Street, Lexington, KY. This position may require working from any of the WayPoint Centers within our region as needed.&nbsp; EXPECTED WORK HOURSMonday through Friday, 8:30AM-5:00PM. Must be willing to work a non-standard work schedule, including nights, weekends, and other unusual hours. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThe employee is regularly required to communicate, in oral and written formats, with others in person, over the phone, and via other devices. The employee must be able to transcribe, read extensively, prepare, and analyze data and figures, and operate a computer and other standard office machinery. Senior Manager, Human Resources

The Public Policy and Advocacy Manager will provide strategic leadership and daily management of efforts that advance our local, state and federal policy agenda while also building the advocacy capacity of our staff, volunteers and partners.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
<ul><li>Provide day-to-day support for staff, volunteers and partners to influence policy at national, state and local levels.</li>
<li>Track identified legislative and public policy priorities and update UWGC staff and volunteers on status changes.</li>

<li>Manage projects and collaborations with internal and external stakeholders.</li>
<li>Work to grow UWGC’s advocacy network.</li>
<li>Organize and execute advocacy events and initiatives.</li>
<li>Together with the Public Policy and Advocacy Director, support the UWGC Public Policy Committee.</li>
</ul>Minimum Qualifications:
<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree and at least three years’ full-time, professional work experience with significant responsibilities. Education cannot substitute for work experience.</li>

<li>Willing to work weekends and evenings and travel throughout Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana as necessary.</li>
<li>Access to a car, possession of a valid driver’s license, and proof of current automobile insurance.</li>
