The Marketing and Communications Assistant is responsible for supporting the Marketing &amp; Communications Senior Manager and marketing and communications tasks and duties. This role involves a range of tasks that align with the company’s strategic plan, goals and overall marketing department strategy. This is an on-site, hybrid role.Duties and Responsibilities:Effective and Engaging Communicator<ul><li>Assist with content development across various platforms&nbsp;including&nbsp;but not limited to e-newsletters, promotional items, website management, and social media content.&nbsp;</li><li>Utilize platforms to schedule social posts (including engagement), conduct website updates, schedule email campaigns, etc. to distribute content.&nbsp;</li><li>Provide support with graphic design tasks while abiding by branding&nbsp;guidelines.</li></ul>&nbsp;Critical Thinking and Creative Problem Solving<ul><li>Pull reports and engagement&nbsp;metrics&nbsp;on&nbsp;communication&nbsp;channels,&nbsp;including&nbsp;growth, retention, interactions, impressions, consumer habits and conversions.</li></ul>&nbsp; Planning and Implementation<ul><li>Schedule and coordinate meetings for the marketing team.</li><li>Track marketing and communication tasks and follow up when needed.</li><li>Work with marketing vendors as appropriate.&nbsp;</li><li>Attend events to capture photos and videos.&nbsp;</li><li>Additional duties and support as necessary to support the Marketing &amp; Communications Senior Manager and marketing and communications tasks.</li></ul>Qualifications&nbsp;<ul><li>Associate’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or similar degree, or high school diploma and two years of relevant work&nbsp;experience.</li><li>Proficient&nbsp;computer&nbsp;skills and&nbsp;digital&nbsp;literacy.</li><li>Ability to multitask and manage time effectively while adhering to process and assignments from supervisor and remain flexible&nbsp;to&nbsp;adapt&nbsp;to&nbsp;changing&nbsp;priorities&nbsp;and&nbsp;thrive&nbsp;in&nbsp;a&nbsp;dynamic work&nbsp;environment.</li><li>Team player that embraces changes that improve efficiencies throughout the organization.</li><li>Ability&nbsp;to&nbsp;work&nbsp;independently while also following instructions when applicable.&nbsp;</li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including verbal and written.</li><li>Administrative skills and project management skills including excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.</li></ul>&nbsp; Preferred<ul><li>Knowledge and experience of HubSpot, Constant Contact, WordPress and Canva or similar platforms.&nbsp;</li><li>Proficient in social media best practices and collecting data from various platforms.</li><li>Graphic design and/or digital content/design experience.</li><li>Understanding of marketing and communications best practices and principles.</li></ul><h2>Working&nbsp;Conditions&nbsp;&amp;&nbsp;PhysicalRequirements</h2>&nbsp;&nbsp;Work is carried out in a controlled, agreeable environment as generally represented by normal &nbsp; office conditions.&nbsp;Employees may be required to assist with or attend various offsite events related&nbsp;to&nbsp;programs or&nbsp;fundraising&nbsp;that&nbsp;are&nbsp;scheduled evenings&nbsp;and/or&nbsp;weekends.
