Identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit and steward donors.</li><li>Participates in all aspects of the gift cycle:</li></ul>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;- Initiate contacts with current Tocqueville Society and major donors&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;- Initiate contacts with potential Tocqueville Society and major donors to generate new business&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;- Develops appropriate cultivation strategies for them, including working with volunteers&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;- Moves potential donors in an appropriate and timely fashion toward solicitation and closure&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;- Makes solicitations when appropriate&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;- Maintains stewardship contacts with donors; adhere to the highest ethical standards; demonstrate empathetic disposition, &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;and perseverance; reflect optimistic and positive attitude, and convey sensitivity to needs of the donors<ul><li>Ensures that all Tocqueville Society gifts are accounted for during the fiscal year.</li><li>Participates in 15-20 donor meetings a month.</li><li>Works collaboratively with and in support of volunteers, other development staff, and other United Way staff to achieve the needs of the prospects.</li><li>Work with the Prospect Manager to identify new business and participate in prospect management activities to ensure coordination of cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship activities.</li><li>Attends United Way events as well as outside events for United Way representation, networking etc.</li><li>Responsible for soliciting gifts of $10,000 and higher from individuals</li><li>Collaborate with the Development Officers to identify major and planned gift prospects within giving communities and employee campaigns to create, cultivate and solicit Tocqueville Society donors.&nbsp;</li><li>Data management- strategically implement reports into the fundraising approach, utilization of United Way’s customer relationship management tool, Andar, maintain data quality and integrity.</li><li>Work closely with team members including administrative, marketing and engagement teams.</li><li>Identify prospects, engage them in the work of United Way and secure appropriate revenues through cross-selling opportunities.
