<h2>Purpose of Position:</h2>The Volunteer Coordinator position is responsible for leading the recruitment, placement, training, and retention of volunteers in support of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. Key Accountabilities 

ï· Travel to meet with clients at their home, community partner offices, satellite offices, etc.; if

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

ï· Build trusting relationships with participants and their families while providing general support and
encouragement.

ï· Follow up with participants via phone calls, home visits and visits to other settings where participants
can be found.
