POSITION SUMMARY 
This role will be responsible for transporting, operating, and maintaining a 24-foot mobile shower trailer 
which provides essential hygiene services to individuals experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity. 
A reliable, detail-oriented individual who’s passionate about making a positive impact in the community 
is essential to this role. 
 
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

 • Transportation: Safely and efficiently drive a large pickup truck towing a 24-foot shower trailer to 
and from designated sites following all traffic laws and safety regulations. 

 • Setup: Configure the shower trailer at event locations, ensuring proper connections to water and 
power sources for seamless operation. 

 • Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance on the trailer, including emptying grey and black 
water tanks, checking tire pressure, fluid levels, and overall condition to ensure reliability. 

 • Cleaning: Maintain a sanitary and welcoming environment by thoroughly cleaning the interior and 
exterior of the trailer after each event. Stock and replenish supplies. 

 • Customer Service: Deliver outstanding customer service to event organizers and attendees, 
proactively addressing questions and concerns to enhance the overall experience. 

KEY REQUIREMENTS: 
 • Valid South Carolina driver’s license with a clean driving record. 
 • Experience operating large vehicles such as trailers or RVs. 
 • Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs. 
 • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Hours:&nbsp; Maximum 35 hours/week; M-F; hours are 6:30am-8:00 am and 1:45- 6:00 pm during the school year.&nbsp; Additional hours, as required, during PIR days, Early-outs, School (non-legal) holidays, and summer are generally 6 hour shifts, schedule determined by the OST Program Director.&nbsp;&nbsp;
Salary Range:$10.00 - $15.00 per hour, DOE
ROLE:&nbsp; Help implement the CARE Academy Before and After School Program at assigned program sites in Billings and Laurel; provide a safe place for children during non-school time hours where they can enjoy enriching activities.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
ABOUT CARE ACADEMY:&nbsp; CARE Academy was originally an elementary OST program operated by Billings Public Schools.&nbsp; United Way of Yellowstone County (UWYC) assumed responsibility of CARE Academy in the fall of 2009, and operates at five locations, serving between 300-350 students daily.&nbsp; CARE Academy offers Whole Day programs on most school holidays and PIR Days.&nbsp; CARE Academy also offers a summer program that serves between 70-80 students each summer. &nbsp;&nbsp;Laurel Public Schools CARE Academy locations are at West and Graff.&nbsp;
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
<ol><li>Work cooperatively and in conjunction with Program Director, Site Coordinator, Principals, teachers, parents and students.</li>
<li>Assist in implementing the activities offered to students.</li>
<li>Assist in tutoring CARE Academy students during homework help time.</li>
<li>Assist with distributing daily snacks to students.</li>
<li>Attend staff training opportunities provided for CARE Academy staff and volunteers.</li>
<li>Maintain standards of students behavior needed to achieve a safe and positive climate in the before and after school program for students and staff.</li>
<li>Communicate clearly and regularly with the Director regarding all aspects of the program.</li>
<li>Greet and assist all students, parents, staff, and visitors.</li>
<li>Assist in special CARE Academy activities that may include all program sites.</li>
</ol>GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
<ol><li>Support and abide by agency policies, procedures and philosophies.</li>
<li>Maintain standards of safe working conditions.</li>
<li>Serve as a United Way of Yellowstone County ambassador at all times by communicating the mission and vision of United Way.</li>

</ol>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School graduate; experience in childcare, working with youth at elementary level preferred.&nbsp; Must be professional, organized, and courteous.&nbsp; Must submit to and pass a criminal background check.

POSITION TITLE: Team UP AmeriCorps Coordinator 
	FLSA: Hourly

	REPORTS TO: VP of Strategic Partnerships
POSITION OBJECTIVE: 
	The Team UP AmeriCorps Coordinator, under direct supervision of the AmeriCorps Director, supports all programmatic aspects of Team UP AmeriCorps. This includes program planning, member management, communication/outreach, grant compliance, host site support, and data/program reporting. The AmeriCorps Coordinator will be required to build upon and create positive relationships with all entities involved with the program: members, site supervisors, community partners, funders, host sites, and the communities served.
INTRODUCTION TO Team UP AmeriCorps: 
	Led by the United Way of Southwest Colorado (UWSC), Team UP AmeriCorps places AmeriCorps State &amp; National (ASN) members directly at local non-profits, schools, and government agencies to expand or implement new programs and projects. Members serve for a 12-month term of National Service to improve outcomes in Education, Economic Opportunity, and Healthy Futures. Team UP AmeriCorps provides hand-on experience and opportunities for training and professional development to its members while supporting communities in Southwest Colorado. Team UP AmeriCorps is currently in its fifth year of programming with plans to continue and expand in years to come. Members serve within the UWSC’s five-county region: Archuleta, La Plata, Montezuma, Dolores, and San Juan counties.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
● Program Planning 
	○ Lead member recruitment initiatives 
	· Assist with updating existing and creating new Position Descriptions 
	· Post Position Descriptions on Team UP Website, eGrants/myAmeriCorps, and other relevant internal and external sites 
	· Follow, update, and improve recruitment plan 
	· Attend recruitment events; speak with potential candidates about service opportunities 
	· Manage incoming member applications by scheduling and conducting Preliminary Interviews and coordinating with Host Sites 
	○ Onboard and enroll new members at program start (September) and throughout the program year (rolling enrollment) 
	· Engage and support new members prior to their Term of Service (housing support, welcome email, regular communication, etc.) 
	· Assist with enrolling and importing member info into AmeriCorps systems (eGrants &amp; OnCorps) 
	· Assist with assisting with National Service Criminal History Checks 
	· Help plan and co-facilitate Team UP AmeriCorps Member Orientation with specific focus on team-building and connection activities 
	○ As relevant, engage with potential new Host Sites and seek opportunities for program expansion 
	● Member Management 
	○ Be responsive to member and site supervisor needs by providing support, promoting professional development, and addressing concerns through problem-solving 
	○ Learn and manage the OnCorps database system 
	· Send timesheet reminders to Members and Site Supervisors 
	· Monitor timesheets for compliance and progress 
	○ Review Monthly Status Updates from members and site supervisors 
	· Recognize successes and highlights 
	· Respond to concerns and needs 
	○ Perform periodic regional Site Visits to engage with members and ensure program compliance 
	○ Perform scheduled regional 360° evaluation to provide/receive feedback on the member, host site, and AmeriCorps program 
	○ Help plan and co-facilitate monthly Cohort Connection Calls with specific focus on connection and team-building 
	○ Help plan and co-facilitate monthly Team UP AmeriCorps trainings and/or service projects with specific focus on connection, group dynamics, and “life after AmeriCorps” 
	● Communications/Outreach: 
	○ Increase Team UP AmeriCorps presence on social media by managing current and creating new accounts 
	○ Increase local knowledge of Team UP AmeriCorps through community communication 
	○ Update and possibly create new marketing and recruitment materials keeping in line with the AmeriCorps and Team UP brand guidelines 
	● Grant Compliance: 
	○ Learn about and comply with all grant contacts and program policies 
	● Host Site Support: 
	○ Assist with Site Supervisor Orientation and as-needed periodic host site trainings 
	● Data Management/Program Reporting 
	○ Assist with internal and external reporting efforts
ADDITIONAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: 
	● Represent the AmeriCorps Director at meetings or functions when required 
	● Coordinate with UWSC’s Team UP Collective Impact Initiative 
	● Attend applicable AmeriCorps training and conferences 
	● Provide feedback on and assist with the betterment and expansion of Team UP AmeriCorps

Team UP AmeriCorps Coordinator

Reporting directly to the President and CEO, The Finance Director is responsible for all accounting duties for the United Way of North Central Massachusetts (UWNCM), including but not limited to data processing, deposit preparation, account and bank reconciliations, financial statements and budget preparations.&nbsp; The Finance Director works closely with all UWNCM personnel to ensure timely and accurate processing and reporting.&nbsp; The Finance Director produces and analyzes financial reports on a monthly/quarterly basis. &nbsp;This is a 20 hour per week position.
Responsibilities and Duties
