Community Impact Administrative Coordinator

Position Overview We’re looking for a dedicated and resourceful Community Resiliency Coordination Manager to lead and oversee disaster preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation efforts at United Way of Central Florida. This pivotal role will develop and execute comprehensive disaster response strategies, coordinate cross-agency collaboration, and engage with community partners to ensure effective emergency services. Reporting directly to our Chief Operating Officer, the Community Resiliency Coordination Manager will be instrumental in mobilizing resources, training volunteers, and building resilience in the communities we serve in the tri-county area. This role will serve as the face of UWCF in short-term disaster relief for local communities, from hurricanes and tornadoes to violent acts and other crisis situations.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Disaster Preparedness and Response: Develop and implement a comprehensive emergency preparedness and disaster response plan within the FEMA framework tailored to the needs of the organization and the community. Coordinate immediate and short-term disaster relief efforts, including resource distribution (with particular emphasis on food distribution), volunteer deployment, and communication with affected individuals and groups.</li><li>&nbsp;Partner Organization Relations: Foster strong relationships with local partner organizations and secure Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) to ensure coordinated disaster response. Community Resiliency Coordination Manager

Overall Purpose of this Role: The Project Manager is responsible for implementing processes, coordinating internal donor relations activities and maintaining data integrity in support of departmental efforts. This role will collaborate effectively cross-departmentally to help advance the organization’s fundraising initiatives and ensure cohesion between all areas.&nbsp;
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Donor Relations
<ul><li>Serve as a key stakeholder in managing the organization’s donor recognition and stewardship plan for donors of all levels, ensuring that the donor experience fulfills the HFUW’s strategic imperative.</li>
<li>Work closely with Senior Executive Assistant to the President and CEO to facilitate correspondence and outreach with current and prospective donors.</li>
<li>Provide administrative functions related to donor relations including the printing and assembly of mail items.</li>
<li>Coordinate with the Finance Department on donor relations and event sponsor related billing and collections as appropriate.</li>
