The Community Engagement and Programs Coordinator is an engaged member of the Community Impact and Engagement Team who is results-oriented and detail focused. The coordinator will support the Manager of Community Engagement to coordinate the community engagement programs and projects, and oversee volunteer service opportunities. <h2>Purpose of Position:</h2>The Volunteer Coordinator position is responsible for leading the recruitment, placement, training, and retention of volunteers in support of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. This position plays a critical role in advancing the mission of United Way and the RealSense program by ensuring that all volunteer activities are aligned with IRS regulations, organizational goals, and community needs.
