POSITION SUMMARY
<a href="http://www.wellpartners.org/" target="_blank">WellPartners</a> offers free dental and vision health services that provide preventive and restorative dental and vision care to uninsured children and adults in the Midlands. We have two locations and are seeking a part-time Receptionist for our Lexington dental clinic located in the County Health Department complex in Red Bank.
The Receptionist would be responsible for front office dental clinic reception and administration duties, including greeting patients and guests as well as directing them appropriately, answering phones, handling clinic inquiries, managing grant and other reporting data and documents, and sorting and distributing mail. Flexibility, initiative, and a pleasant attitude are requisites as well as the ability to build and maintain a strong working relationship as part of the clinics’ team. Hours:  Maximum 35 hours/week; M-F; hours are 6:30am-8:00 am and 1:45- 6:00 pm during the school year.  Additional hours, as required, during PIR days, Early-outs, School (non-legal) holidays, and summer are generally 6 hour shifts, schedule determined by the OST Program Director.

ROLE:  Help implement the CARE Academy Before and After School Program at assigned program sites in Billings and Laurel; provide a safe place for children during non-school time hours where they can enjoy enriching activities.   
ABOUT CARE ACADEMY:  CARE Academy was originally an elementary OST program operated by Billings Public Schools.  United Way of Yellowstone County (UWYC) assumed responsibility of CARE Academy in the fall of 2009, and operates at five locations, serving between 300-350 students daily.  CARE Academy offers Whole Day programs on most school holidays and PIR Days.  CARE Academy also offers a summer program that serves between 70-80 students each summer.   Laurel Public Schools CARE Academy locations are at West and Graff. 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
<ol><li>Work cooperatively and in conjunction with Program Director, Site Coordinator, Principals, teachers, parents and students.</li>
<li>Assist in implementing the activities offered to students.</li>
<li>Assist in tutoring CARE Academy students during homework help time.</li>

<li>Attend staff training opportunities provided for CARE Academy staff and volunteers.</li>

	The Team UP AmeriCorps Coordinator, under direct supervision of the AmeriCorps Director, supports all programmatic aspects of Team UP AmeriCorps.
