This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives on organization, coordination, and supporting revenue-generating efforts that truly make a difference.Position OverviewThe Resource Development Specialist provides essential campaign coordination, account management, and administrative support to the Sr. Director of Corporate Philanthropy. &nbsp;This role plays a key part in the success of workplace and corporate campaigns by ensuring strong donor stewardship, seamless logistics, and accurate data management.In this role, you will manage a select portfolio of workplace and corporate accounts, support donor engagement activities year-round, and help maintain the integrity of donor data and reporting within UWCF systems. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, professionalism, adaptability, and a service-oriented mindset.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Support annual campaign coordination in partnership with the Sr. Director of Corporate Philanthropy and&nbsp;Corporate Philanthropy&nbsp;Team.&nbsp;</li><li>Manage a portfolio of assigned workplace and corporate accounts, including scheduling presentations, coordinating materials, tracking progress, and delivering follow-up stewardship.&nbsp;</li><li>Serve as primary support to the Sr. Director for high-profile accounts, ensuring seamless&nbsp;logistics, proactive communication, and exceptional relationship management.&nbsp;</li><li>Assist&nbsp;with workplace campaign events, ambassador&nbsp;trainings, and donor engagement activities.&nbsp;</li><li>Prepare donor correspondence, campaign packets, decks, and stewardship materials.&nbsp;</li><li>Assist&nbsp;with volunteer coordination for campaign activities and events, ensuring clear communication, materials, and appreciation.&nbsp;</li><li>Represent UWCF professionally at select campaign functions, meetings, and community gatherings.&nbsp;</li><li>For accounts assigned,&nbsp;maintain&nbsp;accurate&nbsp;donor,&nbsp;account, and pledge records in ANDAR system.&nbsp;</li><li>Produce account-level reports, trend analysis, and exports that support strategy and donor stewardship.&nbsp;</li><li>Provide administrative support to the Sr. Director of Corporate Philanthropy, including scheduling, meeting preparation, follow-up tracking, and documentation.&nbsp;</li><li>Assist&nbsp;with coordination of UWCF events, including vendor communication, RSVPs, name tags, run-of-show preparation, and on-site&nbsp;logistics&nbsp;in partnership with Marketing &amp; Communications.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain organized files&nbsp;and&nbsp;shared&nbsp;drives&nbsp;--&nbsp;draft and proofread donor and volunteer communications.&nbsp;</li><li>Other duties as assigned.&nbsp;</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, nonprofit management, or a related field</li><li>2–3 years of experience in resource development, fundraising, nonprofit administration, marketing, customer service, or corporate relations</li><li>Experience working with a donor CRM (ANDAR preferred)</li><li>Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt during busy campaign cycles</li></ul>Skills &amp; Attributes<ul><li>Strong interpersonal skills with a donor- and service-oriented mindset</li><li>Highly organized with excellent follow-through and attention to detail</li><li>Polished written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook</li><li>Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion</li><li>Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment</li><li>Flexibility to support occasional early morning, evening, or weekend campaign needs</li></ul>Compensation, Benefits &amp; Work Schedule<ul><li>Hourly Rate: $23 per hour</li><li>Schedule: 30 hours per week</li><li>Classification: Non-exempt, hourly</li><li>Location: On-site in Lakeland, FL</li><li>Comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, holidays, and professional development opportunities.</li></ul>Disaster Response ResponsibilityEvery United Way of Central Florida employee is a disaster response worker and may be expected to support community response efforts when an Emergency Support Function (ESF) is activated, after ensuring personal and family safety.Inclusion at UWCFAt United Way of Central Florida, we believe that diverse voices and experiences strengthen our mission and culture.
