If you are skilled in developing and managing data and evaluation systems, can skillfully facilitate groups, and can

reporting, and improvement processes across the department’s teams (United for Youth, Community Schools,

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 
 
Organize and manage UWABC community impact data 

â Establish and maintain clear roles and responsibilities for staff and contractors regarding collaborative 
community impact data management and evaluation 

â Facilitate all data migration, data integration, and data management tasks related to the Community Impact 
department 

â Support the future integration of Community Impact data into UWABC’s new Customer Relationship 
Management (CRM) system 
 

Collect, evaluate and share UWABC community impact data 
â Lead process to establish and manage an efficient, simple data system/infrastructure to collect, visualize,

â Work closely with Associate Director Grants to establish an efficient, comprehensive system to ensure that 

grant applications, outcomes tracking, and reporting are done accurately and on time for a variety of

â Lead Community Impact department’s data collection, analysis, data visualization (internal dashboards), 
integration, and reporting 

â Coordinate and communicate with all UWABC departments to ensure access to key data points and visuals 
that support sharing our brand narrative with various audiences 
 

Support the development of UWABC/partner performance measures 
â Provide technical assistance and support for Community Schools and for contracted community partners 

working in Community Schools to create systems for collecting, evaluating, and sharing performance 
measures 
 

Manage United for Youth (U4Y) data and evaluation framework 
â Ensure development and management of a cohesive U4Y data/evaluation framework that includes data, 

sources, and methods that are mutually agreed upon by partners as sound and important to the community 
 

Ensure adoption and alignment of United for Youth data and evaluation framework 
â Ensure alignment between U4Y indicators and district improvement strategies and school improvement 

plans 
â Provide technical assistance and support for U4Y partners to create aligned systems for data collection, 

evaluation, and sharing. 
 

Manage United for Youth Community dashboard 
â Manage data collection, transparency, analysis, and reporting on community wide key indicators on 

publicly-facing dashboards to ensure that U4Y partners and stakeholders have access to key data for

 Job Title: Desktop Support Specialist Reporting To: Director, IT 

 Department: IT Position: Full-Time/ Non-exempt 


Purpose of Position 
The Desktop Support Specialist will support the end-user computer needs for functionality, systems 
updates and hardware deployments. The role provides support to Orange County United Way teams by 
providing user assistance and training on both systems and applications used by the organization. 
End-user and system support is provided for both onsite and remote employees, the need to 
troubleshoot and fix problems will occur regularly using remote connectivity tools. 
The position will also be responsible for hardware and software deployments, inventory controls, user 
training on systems and applications. 
 

Key Duties and Responsibilities 
 • Provide desktop systems and user support to ensure required computer capabilities are 

available to all users 

 • Develop and provide systems and software training to the end-users 

 • Manage trouble tickets and ensure customer satisfaction 

 • Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user workstations and related 
hardware and software for local and remote users 

 • Develop and maintain an inventory of all IT desktops, components and equipment 

 • Maintain documentation on all desktop processes and procedures 

 • Ensure that application and system updates are in place 

 • Deploy, implement, troubleshoot and support the workforce environment 

 • Monitor the ongoing operation of the Windows environment 

 • Identify risk and challenges and implements corrective actions as needed 

 • Performs related work as assigned

United Way of Greater Cincinnati (UWGC) has an immediate opening for an IT Project Manager who will join our technology team and oversee a wide variety of technology-related projects across UWGC. The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented with excellent communication skills, effective problem-solving skills, and a proven track record of collaborating with vendors, in-house personnel as well as forming high-performing team of experts for each project to maximize resources and efficiency. This role will work closely with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to improve service delivery, aligning technology with strategy, as well as adoption and governance of all UWGC’s technologies.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Technology Strategy &amp; Implementation
<ul><li>Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize business needs and requirements.</li>
<li>Work with functional and technical teams to design solutions that meet business requirements, including providing input on system design and functionality, identifying problems, creating solutions and implementing efficiency improvements.</li>
<li>Ensure initiatives align to the organization’s business objectives and final implementations stay on strategy.</li>
<li>Drive project management activities for technology initiatives, including project planning, monitoring progress, and identifying and mitigating risks. Proactively communicate project updates, progress, and issues effectively to ensure alignment.</li>
<li>Oversee acquisition of resources and materials as needed before and during projects and negotiating price and payment agreements with vendors.</li>
