United Way of Lee, Hendry, Glades and (UWLHG) is a volunteer driven organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for all people in our community. This is accomplished through fundraising, fund distribution (90+ partners), community building, volunteer advancement, and information and referral. UWLHG is a $16 million nonprofit social services organization, with 75+ employees in five locations with the main campus being located at 7273 Concourse Drive, Fort Myers, FL. The majority of funding is from private donations although UWLHG also receives local, state, and federal grants.
Job Summary
The United Way 211 Data and Technology Manager is responsible for overseeing operations within the United Way 211 Resource Department to maintain a high-quality database system. This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of the iCarol database by working closely with community partners to maintain program listings through targeted outreach and vetting processes. The Manager also supports the Resource Department team and collaborates with the United Way 211 Team to identify gaps and needs in available resources. By strengthening the database and increasing the accuracy of available resources, this role enhances caller satisfaction and supports grant requirements, program goals, and data analysis initiatives.
Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions
The major responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
• Support the 211 Resource Specialist team with research, information updates, and technical assistance to ensure high-quality service in the contact center.
• Oversee the maintenance of a comprehensive, up-to-date computerized inventory of nonprofit, charitable, and government organizations within the assigned 211 service area, ensuring it is structured in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Work with Resource staff to ensure all agencies in the 211 database are reviewed and updated at regular intervals, at least annually.
• Analyze, interpret, and prepare statistical data for local, state, and federal grants and programs.
• Generate internal trends and ad hoc reports for department and management staff.
• Transition to and manage Linklive call center and VisionLink database solutions. Provide training, monitoring, and support to call center staff, collaborating with the 211 management team to address technical issues.
• Coordinate 211 website and internet-related activities, including the management of approved applications of the community resources database and 211 Counts.
• Assist in the development and implementation of a Quality Assurance process for the database, identifying and addressing errors and discrepancies in collaboration with the 211 management team.
• Participate in Accreditation application process and subsequent review by InformUSA
• Complete special projects and reports as assigned.
• Participate in statewide 211 data gathering initiatives, including InformFL.
• Support emergency response efforts; all employees are required to work before, during, or after emergencies as needed. Employees may be temporarily assigned to duties outside their normal scope, location, and work schedule to meet the needs of the county and its citizens.
• Some travel is required.

Education/Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services-related field preferred, or an associate degree with equivalent experience. Direct experience may be substituted for education as appropriate.
• Strong knowledge and skills in data analysis, statistical interpretation, and critical thinking.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong multitasking skills, with the ability to manage responsibilities in high-pressure situations.
• Proficiency in database systems and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Familiarity with community resources and services in Southwest Florida is preferred.
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in stressful situations.

Requires talking, hearing, and visual acuity sufficient to perform these major functions. Occasionally, the work of this position is spent at offsite meetings, or event locations within Lee, Hendry, or Glades County.
Licenses- Valid Florida Driver’s License.

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00a.m. - 5:00p.m. Some evening and weekend hours may be required as job duties demand.
