Resource Navigator (Bilingual)

Bilingual Resource Navigator 

Reports To:                           Program Manager / Director of Community Impact

Pay Range:                            $19.00 hourly 

Classification:                       Regular, Part Time, Non-exempt

Hours:                                    20-30 per week

The Bilingual Resource Navigator is a frontline service provider who will work with clients requesting assistance in English, Spanish and other languages with interpretation services. The Resource Navigator will work to determine client needs, screen for eligibility for assistance, connect to community resources, apply criteria for assistance funds and provide financial education services through group workshops and individual counseling sessions.

The Resource Navigator will receive training to work directly with clients in a group and one-on-one on financial education topics such as budgeting, decision-making, credit and related topics.

Work will primarily take place in the United Way office and at designated locations in coordination with network and community partners. The position will involve some travel within Harrisonburg and Rockingham County.
