United Way of Lancaster is looking for a Resource Development Associate to join our team. The Resource Development Associate position will work as a cross functional member of the RD team fulfilling various fundraising duties as necessitated by events and activities throughout the fiscal year and to engage donors across the donor cycle, while acting in accordance with our values, vision, and mission.
Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the Director of Stewardship to plan and implement workplace
campaigns and year-round donor engagement activities.
• Assist with developing workplace giving campaign strategies to create tailored
engagement plans for participating companies.
• Manage portfolio of assigned corporate accounts to assist in the planning and
implementation of workplace giving campaigns.
• Foster relationships with key stakeholders at companies participating in workplace
campaigns to deepen the company’s commitment and that of their employees to
increase participation, retention, and potential revenue.
• Assist Director of RD with implementing strategies to grow the number of individual
leadership level donors through qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and
stewardship.
• Conduct discovery visits to assess, cultivate, and solicit a portfolio of leadership
annual giving prospects for gifts between $1,000 and $5,000.
• Develop a cultivation and stewardship strategy to engage and retain new and young
adult donors.
• Assist with the management of special donor groups, such as Women United
• Assist in developing and carrying out overall donor stewardship plans and activities.
• Partner with the Development and Marketing teams to plan and carry out
fundraising, donor stewardship, and community engagement events.
• Develop and participate in presentations to raise awareness of the impact of United
Way funding and programs throughout Lancaster County.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in related field
• Minimum of 2 years of fundraising experience
• Bilingual in Spanish and English a plus
• A Valid Driver’s License is required.
This is full–time, Monday – Friday.
