Position Summary: (Hybrid, minimum of 4 days in office - Alexandria, VA)

United Way Worldwide is seeking a highlyskilled and Microsoft 0365 Systems Administrator to join our team and manage our SharePoint and Office 365 environments.
 The Microsoft 0365 System  Administrator will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SharePoint and Office 365 systems. This position involves overseeing the administration, development, and support of SharePoint and Office 365 applications. The role requires expertise in SharePoint, Power Apps, Windows Powershell, Power Automate, AWS, Azure, and Entra.

Key Responsibilities/Essential Duties of Position:

Microsoft Office 365 Administration:
◦ Administer and manage SharePoint environments, including site collections, permissions, and content management.
 ◦ Configure and maintain SharePoint Online and On-Premises solutions, including custom development and integrations.
 ◦ Oversee Office 365 administration, including Exchange Online, Teams, and other M365 services.

Development & Automation:
 ◦ Develop and deploy SharePoint solutions, including custom applications, workflows, and integrations.
 ◦ Utilize Power Apps and Power Automate to create and manage automated workflows and applications.
 ◦ Implement and manage Azure, AWS, and Entra services related to identity, access management, and cloud infrastructure.

Technical Expertise & Support:
 ◦ Serve as a senior-level technical expert and point of contact for SharePoint and Office 365-related issues.
 ◦ Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to SharePoint, Power Apps, Office 365, and cloud services.
 ◦ Maintain system documentation, including architecture diagrams, user guides, and technical procedures.

Collaboration & Improvement:
 ◦ Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and provide effective SharePoint and Office 365 solutions.
 ◦ Continuously assess and improve system performance, security, and user experience.
 ◦ Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend enhancements and innovations.

Preferred Qualifications:
 • Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
 • Experience with large-scale SharePoint deployments and enterprise-level Office 365 solutions.
 • Knowledge of scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell).

Job Requirements

Minimum requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in SharePoint and Office 365 administration, including hands-on experience with SharePoint Online and On-Premises.
  • Proficiency in SharePoint development, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and custom workflows.
  •  Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud and AWS services.
  •  Experience with Microsoft Windows, Office 365, Teams, and related technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
  •  Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

 • Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).

SALARY STATEMENT:

The budgeted lifespan salary range for this position is currently $85,000 to $95,000 per year. Salaries are determined by several factors including applicant’s knowledge, skills, experience, position, equity, and market.
