POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for network monitoring and coordination, provides support to network partners in membership accountability areas, develops data collection processes for the region, manages network communications (with UWW, the International Network, and Local United Way (LUW) network partners) and provides administrative and logistics support to other regional office functions.

This position is open to residents where there is a local United Way chapter in the European Union, United Kingdom, and Israel.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF POSITION:

An individual must be able to perform each essential duty listed below at a satisfactory level:

Membership Accountability & Performance

  • In collaboration with the International Network’s (IN) Director, Network Membership and Development, support regional data collection, analyze findings, and develop relevant reports to inform strategic planning, resource development, and network capacity functions.
  • Work with the UWW Membership Accountability Team and the Director, Network Membership and Development to track the performance of network partners’ progress and compliance with membership requirements, financial accountability, and governance - including dues, documentation, compliance, and submission of UWWIG data.
  • Facilitate communication between Network Partners, the IN team, and UWW to provide necessary information for UWWIG completion and training support to Network Partners on survey completion.

Regional Office Administrative and Capacity Building Support

  • Provide administrative support for Regional Office functions, including contracting processes, drafting and legal review of contracts, payments to vendors, etc. by processing requests to appropriate UWW departments.
  • Meeting Planning: develop agendas and manage logistics for regional meetings/calls, including periodic web conference calls with LUWs, project(s) meetings and calls, the annual regional meeting, and others.
  • Event Planning: provide coordination and facilitate communication around regional network initiatives and events including UWW conferences and events (e.g. LUW CEO visits to other countries/events, global webinars for information & training purposes).
  • Support fundraising efforts of the Regional Office with data and proposal development.
  • Ensure appropriate storage and organization of regional network files to facilitate access to information and improve collaboration among network partners and regional team members.
  • Assist LUWs in identifying appropriate online resources, training, and webinars on UWW platforms and connecting LUWs, as needed, to relevant UWW colleagues.
  • Track budgets for regional projects with Regional Office resources, as relevant and appropriate.
  • Manage and implement core administrative functions of the Regional Office including office supplies and meetings, event coordination, and the team expenses.

Network Communications

  • In close collaboration with the UWW Marketing and Communications team, facilitate communications between network partners, regional teams, the IN leadership, and key internal and/or external stakeholders.
  • Support the creation of materials such as presentations and brochures for region-specific events and initiatives.
  • Create a flow of information according to the needs of the UWW network.

Program Management

  • Provide research, program design, management, and operational support for regional initiatives.
  • Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of program activities in alignment with regional objectives.
  • Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and briefings for donors, partners, and senior management.
  • Assist in the facilitation of communication among stakeholders to enhance program effectiveness.
  • Help organize meetings, workshops, and consultations with key partners.
  • Assist with collecting and compiling data to track program performance and impact.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • A bachelor's degree with a minimum of five (5) years of advanced-level experience in a similar role, with emphasis on non-profit organization management.
  • Resident or citizen where there is a local United Way chapter in the European Union, United Kingdom, and Israel.
  • Strong IT skills and data management competencies.
  • Fluent in English and second European language.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication skills, analytical competencies, and strong organizational & multi-tasking abilities.
