Manager, Business Giving
POSITION SUMMARY
Oversee workplace giving, fundraising, and volunteer efforts to increase and/or exceed revenue goals. Develop strategies to cultivate corporate donor relationships, track donor activities, and improve workplace giving campaigns to increase support.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF POSITION
An individual must be able to perform each essential duty listed below at a satisfactory level:
Manage the planning and implementation of Workplace Giving Rallies, fundraising, and volunteer opportunities.
Solicit donations through direct outreach and presentations, aligning donor interests with organizational needs.
Secure fee-for-service opportunities, aimed at diversifying and enhancing revenue streams.
Partner with the Director and other leadership to set measurable goals for relationship management and revenue forecasting aligned with corporate partner needs and social responsibility.
Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate and individual accounts focused on workplace giving as the leading solicitation strategy.
Lead the Employee Rally Manager (ERM) meetings relevant to strategic campaign priorities, plan the process, and evaluate the campaigns.
Collaborate to identify new and existing donors across donor networks, workplace rallies, individual giving, volunteers, and fee for service opportunities.
Develop innovative strategies to secure resources, fundraise, and cultivate donor relationships, including sponsorships, corporations, foundations, and Employee Resource Groups.
Manage daily partner engagement, including preparing projections within Database, developing ask strategies, updating forecasts, and tracking donor activity.
Gather and analyze campaign data, evaluate results, and recommend improvements to drive increased revenue for HFUW.
Track revenue, retention, visits, and key activities in CRM dashboards; provide regular updates, including activity status, weekly forecasts, projections, account analysis, monitoring reports, and monthly reports to meet goals.
Implement and maintain policies and procedures for the position’s scope to ensure overall HFUW operational excellence.
Communicate HFUW's mission and vision to diverse audiences through presentations and one-on-one conversations.
Ensure adherence to all organizational policies and procedures, staying informed about updates, and promoting compliance within the team.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent brand representation.
Collect and evaluate campaign feedback to highlight achievements or opportunities for growth.
Ensure timely recording and recognition of donor gifts, while analyzing trends and opportunities to maximize revenue, enhance donor loyalty, and share key insights.
Stay informed about HFUW’s services, products, and the key issues affecting the communities we serve.
Maintain client and staff confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA, FIPA, PHI, PII requirements.
Provide back-up support to Development and External Relations team.
Contribute to overall organizational success by performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Job requirements include:
Associate degree or equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered in lieu of degree. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Valid Driver License required.
Three to five years of experience in nonprofit, social services, business, fundraising, or sales experience required.
Public speaking skills and networking with the ability to confidently address large groups and corporate leadership required.
Prior experience soliciting and working with diverse corporate stakeholders required.
Strong networking skills to build and foster key relationships.
Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office required, with advanced experience in Excel preferred.
RM database experience preferred.
Customer service skills and experience required.
Ability to edit, complete, and assemble reports.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent analytical skills.
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision required.
Strong communication skills, both written and orally, required.
