The Louisiana Association of United Ways serves as the Principle Combined Fundraising Organization (PCFO) for the Louisiana State Combined Charitable Campaign (LA SCCC). The LA SCCC is a workplace giving campaign for Louisiana State employees, enabling the opportunity to designate a personal pledge through payroll deduction or one-time giving.

The Louisiana State Combined Charitable Campaign Manager will provide overall project management for an established annual campaign which reaches employees throughout the State of Louisiana. All plans and procedures are executed within the annual MOU between the Division of Administration, Office of State Uniform Payroll, and the Louisiana Association of United Ways. All expected to be within the provisions of R.S. 42:456(A)(3) and LAC 4: III. Chapter 11 State Combined Charitable Campaign (LA SCCC) Deductions.

As a member of the LAUW team, this leader also contributes to the success of the Louisiana Association of United Way’s mission by fostering a high performance and serving donors with the highest standards.

Virtual Office. Location in the Greater Baton Rouge, Louisiana area desired.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management and Coordination

  • Facilitates the annual Charity Application process, including production and promotion of the annual application forms (paper and online),
  • Creates or updates content, letters, and materials for the LA SCCC, including web-based and social media assets designed for state employee engagement and giving.
  • Provides effective operational management of the LA SCCC, including year-round task/time management, campaign correspondence, and arranging for charity speakers/fairs when requested.
  • Works closely with the LAUW CEO on all matters, including the engagement of the LA SCCC Campaign Cabinet.
  • Organizes the distribution of campaign materials to state agency teams.
  • Provides training and support to state agency Campaign Coordinators.
  • Maintains databases of contacts for agency leadership, campaign coordinators, charity contacts and others for smooth and inclusive communications.
  1. Pledge and Donation Management
  • Ensures accurate pledge processing with the use of the LA SCCC campaign software.
  • Produces campaign reports.
  • Securely manages all online giving pages for the LA SCCC.
  • Performs all duties leveraging secured technology tools provided by the organization.
  • Provides excellent customer service to all stakeholders and partners.

  • Effective communicator with strong professional presentation and writing skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5 years project management, including nonprofit, government or corporate leadership.
