Purpose of Position:

The Donor Services Analyst will need to successfully work with the Donor Services Senior Director (DSSD) on 1) day-to-day work connected to pledges and pledge payments, 2) providing excellent customer service for corporate partners, individual donors, agency partners and internal departments, and 3) deepening trust, and expanding revenue producing opportunities for the Organization. The role will be the primary interface with agencies and agency eligibility, and process pledge and pledge payment transactions (i.e. pledges, contributor designations, pledge payments) to maintain accurate donor data. It is essential to value customers and cooperate productively with other team members seeking ways to improve quality and productivity. Extreme attention to confidentiality and accuracy is critical.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

  • Assist with communication to contributors, agencies and company representatives regarding pledges, payments, designations, allocations, and acknowledgement of gifts. Prepare monthly reminder statements
  • Help enroll agencies for ACH payments and resolve returned checks
  • Build up to a cadence of twice-weekly thank you letters
  • Help maintain agency information, such as address,tax exempt statusand Patriot Act compliance in StratusLive 
  • Perform designation research as needed
  • Work with the donor services team on CRM cleanup, updates and maximization of processes
  • Actively learn team processes, and help map improvements
  • Process transactions for all campaignaccounts (corporate, employeeand individual) for the purpose of recording pledges receivable, contributor designations, company and individual leadership awards, and affinity group participation
  • Post pledges and pledge payments to the company and individual accounts, by pledge year 

Experience/Qualifications:

  • High School diplomaor equivalent (i.e.,GED) required
  • Required minimum of two years’ experience in accounting, donor services or CRM management.  Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision and make recommendations to prioritize work and outline steps necessary to complete a project
  • Proven ability to work on several on-going projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated experience with assignments requiring close attention to details
  1. Proficiency in oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work accurately
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work under pressure, i.e., fluctuations of work load due to deadlines and ability to maintain productivity and composure under pressure
  • Skills requirement: Key Board and 10 Key by Touch
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel for Windows
  • Experience with StratusLIVE CRM, or similar product, is desirable
  • Overtime as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned
