Development Director (Events Focused)

More than a fundraiser, United Way of Northern Utah (United Way) creates opportunities for people in our community to work together to improve the health, education, and financial stability of every person. We move quickly to meet changing needs in our community and need strong team members to assist with mission advancement. We are seeking a Development Director to focus on directing events in our service area. This role will give you the unique opportunity to secure philanthropic support to advance United Way’s mission through corporate and individual giving. You will be responsible for developing and cultivating relationships with corporations and individuals to support our mission philanthropically. You will be responsible for cultivating and managing relationships with current donors & partners, as well as identifying new prospects. An ability to empathize with donors and clearly communicate our organization’s mission is key.
