POSITION SUMMARY
(Eligible for Hybrid/ 3 days in office - Alexandria, VA)
The Coordinator, Learning Programs in the United Way Worldwide Learning & Leadership Development Team plays a critical role in advancing the transformation of United Way talent development and leadership training, aligned with the Thriving United Way framework. The individual administers daily operations for United Way Worldwide’s talent development and leadership training; sustains quality end-to-end engagement with learning participants and network stakeholders and contributes to the efficient management of highly engaging learning programs that strengthen global United Way staff in 40 countries to serve their communities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF POSITION
Learning Program Administration
- Process and manage applications from prospective learners for UWW learning programs.
- Coordinate learner onboarding into programs (working closely with Course Owners and LMS Administrator) to ensure successful, regular communication with learners throughout the program experience.
- Engage, coordinate, and prepare program facilitators and Subject Matter Experts to ensure highest quality delivery of learning programs.
- Prepare and provide program materials, as needed.
- Organize and attend program-planning and post-event meetings and after-action reviews.
- Address learner queries and requests to ensure a positive program experience.
- Provide live logistical support for learning programs and/or work closely with vendors to do so (virtual and face to face).
Learning Administration
- Use SharePoint, LMS, Teams, Zoom, and other platforms to support facilitator and leaner success.
- Administrate learner evaluations and support team to prepare analysis and reports.
- Track and submit continuing education provider and program approvals (including Certified Fundraising Executive and Continuing Professional Education).
- Identify and help improve and streamline operational practices for highest quality learning experiences.
- Design and administer systems to support learner focused, effective and efficient programming. Support the team to continuously improve the learner experience.
General Administration
- Serve as back up contact for stakeholder inquiries routed through the Enterprise Support System. Liaise with Enterprise Support Services (ESS) and the Learning and Leadership Development Team members to provide timely and accurate information for Tier-1 support.
Other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Outstanding organizational and process-management skills, with high attention to detail.
- Exceptional, proactive customer-engagement attitudes and skills.
- Ability to administer multiple projects and activities concurrently.
- Ability to work well and collaborate with all levels of internal/external management and staff.
- Flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, project coordination experience, ability to prioritize requests and needs.
- Highly skilled use of Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to serve as lead administrator for learning program delivery and learner customer support.

SALARY STATEMENT
The budgeted lifespan salary range for this position is currently $60,000 to $74,000 per year. Salary is determined by several factors including applicant’s knowledge, skills, experience, position, equity, and market.
