Collective Impact Coordinator- Early Childhood

ORGANIZATION OVERVIEW

ROLE OVERVIEW

The role of the Collective Impact Coordinator is to coordinate, build capacity, and provide support for community volunteers, agencies, and other stakeholders’ efforts. The Collective Impact Coordinator assists in leading teams that convene collaborative working groups developing trusting relationships with community partners and stakeholders; and works to create an environment where staff and partners use the skills of adaptive leadership, results-based facilitation, ensure coordination and accountability, continuous improvement and addressing disparities to achieve large scale, collective change.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Support for Weld’s County’s Early Childhood Council (WCECC)

  • Support for Weld County’s Early Childhood Council (WCECC). Includes assisting in recruiting, educating and onboarding new community partners into the collective impact system; monitoring engagement and participation of existing members
  • Supports the WCECC executive council, determining the agenda with partners to meet immediate needs and ensure that timely early childhood matters will be addressed.
  • Coordinate monthly WCECC, workgroup, and WCECC executive council meetings. That includes, but is not limited to, setting up meeting locations, preparing agendas, scheduling, note taking, maintaining membership contact databases, and other materials needed for use during meetings
  • Cultivate relationships throughout the community in coordination with the steering committee and workgroup members, seeking to build an inclusive effort that authentically engages and fosters ownership
  • Support data collection among funded partners and support data for continuous learning, adaptation, and improvement.
  • Works with supervisor to develop timely agendas and topics for discussion for all early childhood collaborative meetings.
  • Disseminate webinars, training, community updates, and timely information to early childhood partners.
  • Presentation development and public speaking on organization mission, vision and community impact agenda.
  • Recruit and support volunteers; as well as enter volunteer hours into ANDAR system.
  • Supports the coordination of the community-wide strategic plan for early childhood in Weld County.
  • Supports the Collective Impact Team present at community events meetings and conference on the collective impact progress and performance measures.
  • In partnership with steering committees and workgroups, assists in data research and efforts to implement data-informed improvements and decision making.
  • Submit reports as needed.

Support for Direct Service Programs Offered by United Way of Weld County

  • Promote and support Roadmap4kids.
  • Work with other UWWC staff to promote Reading Great by 8 activities via website, social media, paid advertising, etc.

United Way of Weld County General

  • Support and promote the mission, values, goals and objectives of United Way, including representing United Way in professional organizations and the community (as assigned).
  • Support fundraising efforts of United Way and activities that support United Way.
  • Support United Way annual events, disaster response, and other activities as assigned.
  • Participate in staff meetings and in service opportunities.
  • Contribute to organizational promotions including writing promotional copy, proofreading informational and campaign materials, participation in outreach, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Associates Degree
  • 1 year experience in organizing, facilitation of community wide issues, system building or a related role in nonprofit, education, human services, health care, government or private business.
  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

POSITION INFORMATION

  • Part Time (25 hours) non-exempt.
  • Pay Range:$18.21-$20..50 per hour
    • Plus $.72 per hour Spanish speaking differential, if applicable
  • Reports to: Assistant Director or Early Childhood Initiatives
  • Location: Greeley, CO (must be willing to travel throughout Weld County)
  • Eligible for remote work: Yes, after 90 days of employment with supervisors’ approval.
  • Background check required
