United Way of Lane County

United Way of Lane County is a local nonprofit organization with an 80-year history of connecting people and resources to help our communities thrive. We do this through community investments, cross-sector collaboration, and collective action.

Specifically, we invest in local organizations and coalitions who serve our most vulnerable residents, from providing basic needs to tackling bigger, systemic issues. We bring folks together across sectors to identify our communities’ most pressing needs and then create
innovative solutions together. And we mobilize people across Lane County to take action by volunteering their time and donating money, making a bigger impact together by combining their talents and resources with their neighbors countywide.

Overall, we play a unique role in Lane County by being able to see the bigger picture of what people across our communities need – especially folks who fall between the cracks like ALICE households (people who make too much money to access public assistance but not enough for financial stability) – and then bringing local people and resources together to help our communities move from surviving to thriving.
