<h2>Position Summary&nbsp;</h2><p>The Systems Administrator is responsible for Salesforce administration and CRM analysis.&nbsp; The Systems Administrator ensures that UWPBC fully leverages the Salesforce environment and other related software, to advance fundraising, donor stewardship, volunteer engagement, grants management, program management, and operational efficiency. &nbsp;This position also functions as a “Partner” to all organizational departments in support of the mission, vision, and core values of the organization.&nbsp;</p><h2>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</h2><p>The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Salesforce Administration &amp; Configuration</strong></p><ul><li>Serve as primary administrator for UWPBC’s Salesforce environment (Nonprofit Cloud including Grants Management, Marketing Cloud, and Community Cloud), along with the related United Way-specific enhancements for workplace giving including Salesforce extensions from Beyond the Horizon (BTH) and the GoodWorld digital CRM and online fundraising and marketing application.</li><li>Configure and manage fields, objects, record types, page layouts, flows, validation rules, automations, and security settings.</li><li>Maintain user accounts, permissions, roles, profiles, sharing rules, and audits.</li><li>Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and data quality monitoring tools.</li><li>Oversee sandbox management, deployments, release readiness, and routine system maintenance.</li><li>Oversee upgrades and new feature rollouts, including testing, documentation, and staff communication.</li><li>Ensure system security best practices, including MFA, health checks, and adherence to IT policies.</li></ul><p><strong>Business Analysis &amp; Process Improvement</strong></p><ul><li>Partner with fundraising, programs, finance, volunteer engagement, and communications teams to understand requirements and translate them into CRM solutions.</li><li>Analyze workflows, identify gaps, and develop recommendations for improvement.</li><li>Design and document processes, functional requirements, data dictionaries, and system workflows.</li><li>Proactively identify opportunities to optimize Nonprofit Cloud capabilities for fundraising, gift processing, donor journeys, case management, and program services.</li></ul><p><strong>Data Integrity &amp; Reporting</strong></p><ul><li>Maintain high-quality data through governance, validation, deduplication, and monitoring processes.</li><li>Develop reporting standards and create actionable dashboards for leadership and department teams.</li><li>Support complex queries, segmentation, and data analysis for fundraising, marketing, and impact reporting.</li></ul><p><strong>Training &amp; Change Management</strong></p><ul><li>Provide training, coaching, and resources for new and existing users.</li><li>Promote system adoption through documentation, office hours, and clear communication.</li><li>Support organizational change related to CRM improvements and new processes.</li></ul><p><strong>Other Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Manage technical integrations, support data reconciliation, and provide backup support for other UWPBC enterprise applications.</li><li>Participate in occasional after-hours maintenance windows or system upgrades.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned to support UWPBC’s technology and data strategy.</li><li>Assist, as assigned by management, with the organization’s disaster response efforts.</li><li>Perform other duties as opportunities are presented and/or assigned.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><h2>Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)</h2><ul><li>3+ years of experience as a Salesforce administrator, business analyst, CRM manager, or similar role.</li><li>Experience with Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud (or NPSP) and nonprofit data models (donations, households, affiliations, GAUs, campaigns, engagement plans, etc.).</li><li>Proficiency with Salesforce configuration tools, including Flow Builder, validation rules, Lightning App Builder, and permission management.</li><li>Experience managing third-party integrations (payment processing, email marketing, event management, volunteer management, finance tools, etc.).</li><li>Strong understanding of data governance, data modeling, and CRM best practices.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects and drive user adoption.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.</li><li>High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.</li><li>Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to influence, resolve conflict and lead decision-making.</li><li>Ability to prioritize work and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced and dynamic environment.</li></ul><h2>Physical Demands and Work Environment&nbsp;</h2><p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
