People with diverse backgrounds and abilities are encouraged to apply.&nbsp;POSITION SUMMARYThe Giving and Engagement Coordinator (GEC) is responsible for strategically building and maintaining relationships with individual donors in order to develop an affinity for United Way of Salt Lake (UWSL) and its mission and mobilizing donors to action. The GEC will plan and coordinate engagement activities and stewardship events that inspire philanthropic investment in UWSL. The GEC will manage a portfolio of current, lapsed, and prospective annual giving donors to connect their unique interests, passions, and desired impact with UWSL’s mission. With the Sr. Director of Giving and Engagement, the GEC will facilitate the activities of the giving affinity groups of UWSL, including the Tocqueville Society (donors at $10,000 and above) and the Women United donor network, where members celebrate and support the educational achievement of students in our community.&nbsp;ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS<ol><li>Build relationships with individuals in order to renew existing and solicit new gifts within the Women United Affinity Group, workplace donors, and other annual giving donors while connecting them to our mission.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Assist in managing a dynamic, active portfolio of approximately 150 donors with the capacity to give a four-figure annual gift.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Researching and preparing for donor and prospective donor interactions, appropriately and accurately documenting the stages of those interactions in our CRM database (Salesforce), and analyzing reports that show portfolio performance&nbsp;</li><li>Identify potential major gift prospects and forward them to colleagues as appropriate.&nbsp;</li><li>Coordinate and execute donor recognition events and appreciation initiatives throughout the year, and work to maximize individual donor attendance and participation in the Power of Your Purse annual fundraising gala.&nbsp;</li><li>Operate an Executive Committee of Women United Volunteers and guide the Women United Council in their operations, curating events for members to fundraise and connect to the mission.&nbsp;</li><li>Perform other activities as assigned&nbsp;</li></ol>BENEFITS&nbsp;This is a full-time, non-exempt position with full benefits. $43,000 – 65,000. The Events and Volunteer Engagement Manager promotes and executes large-scale, community-wide volunteer engagement opportunities and plans smaller volunteer events for a portfolio of corporate partners, both of which effectively support UWSL’s mission and goals and increase participants’ affinity for UWSL.
