Take a closer look and reach out if you meet these&nbsp;qualifications.Position Description: Reporting to the CDO, the Donor Engagement Senior Manager/Individual Giving Officer is an important member of the Development/Fundraising department and is responsible for the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of a comprehensive mid-level giving program ($1,000 - $9,999) which includes cultivating and managing United Way NCA Affinity Groups (Regional Advisory Council, Women United, and NextGen United). This position oversees the daily management of these groups and partners with Resource Development colleagues to manage a mid-level giving portfolio and move individual donors through the giving pipeline. Internally, this position works closely with the Community Impact team to support the implementation of meaningful volunteer engagement opportunities for each affinity group, inspiring deeper connection to the mission and programs of United Way NCA.&nbsp;Key Responsibilities:&nbsp;The Donor Engagement Senior Manager/Individual Giving Officer will work closely with the Chief Development Officer and the entire development/fundraising team to oversee:Mid-level Giving<ul><li>Manage a portfolio of approximately two hundred (200) mid-level donors at the $1,000 - $9,999 level, taking them through the annual moves management cycle of qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.</li><li>Inspire full giving participation from affinity group members.&nbsp;</li><li>Create annual cultivation and stewardship plans for affinity group members, proactively striving to move mid-level givers to the major giving pipeline.&nbsp;</li></ul>Affinity Groups<ul><li>Oversee, recruit, and engage members of the Regional Advisory Council, Women United, and NextGen United.&nbsp;</li><li>Manage leadership committees of each group and serve as the primary staff member working with the leadership of each group.&nbsp;</li><li>Coordinate and manage affiliated events to ensure successful development and execution.&nbsp;</li><li>Communicate clearly, regularly, and effectively with members of each affinity group, to build coordination, teamwork, enthusiasm, and a sense of common purpose.</li><li>Develop a calendar of annual volunteer opportunities to connect each affinity group to the programs and services of United Way NCA.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): &nbsp; All front-line fundraisers at United Way NCA are expected to meet annual KPIs. The Donor Engagement Senior Manager/Individual Giving Officers’ performance is measured annually by:<ul><li>Face-to-face meetings and presentations,</li><li>Moves actions completed,</li><li>Solicitations,</li><li>Gifts closed,</li><li>Total dollars raised,</li><li>Number of new, retained, and upgraded donors, and</li><li>Collaborative gifts closed.</li></ul>Job Requirements:&nbsp;Solid Educational Background and Experience -&nbsp;Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, or equivalent experience is required. Minimum five (5) years of individual giving fundraising experience with a proven track record of managing a portfolio of donors contributing in the $1,000 to $9,999 giving range. Proven experience working with volunteer leadership groups, managing an annual calendar of fundraising and donor engagement.Drives Revenue &amp; Impact –&nbsp;Results driven, with a relentless focus on gaining resources to support United Way’s mission and community impact focused strategic objectives. They will manage a portfolio of prospects, current and lapsed donors, targeting five- and six-figure gifts. The Major Gifts Officer is responsible for developing, planning, and implementing strategies for identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of individual donors to include support for Alexis de Tocqueville Society and other related programs to support United Way NCA. They will focus on strategically building and expanding the organization's Individual Giving and Planned Giving program with a goal of significantly increasing the base of annual gifts. This position is ideal for a dynamic, results and relationship-driven, well-organized development professional who is committed to United Way NCA’s mission and has a passion for building development/fundraising programs. The Major Gifts Officer is responsible for maintaining and increasing annual revenue through the development, implementation and management of comprehensive major gifts moves management plan. Internally this position will work closely with SVP and cross functionally to leverage and enhance donor and prospect engagement to inspire deeper connection to the mission and programs of United Way NCA. Key Responsibilities: The Major Gifts Officer will work closely with the CDO and Development/Fundraising Team to build, implement, grow, and maintain long-term cross-functional strategic plans focused on immediate, near-term, and long-term major and planned gifts.1) Secures a minimum of 120 donor meetings/visits per year; 2) Collaborates with colleagues across UW NCA to understand the case for support and inspire donors up the giving pyramid; 3) Actively practices moves management through the donor life cycle of identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship; 4) Documents all donor related activities using the donor database Andar; 5) Assists in all cultivation and stewardship for UW NCA events Portfolio Management •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Secure major gifts at the five- and six-figure levels. •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Directly responsible for identifying, cultivating, and soliciting prospects for major and planned gifts of all varieties. While there is some portfolio in place, there will be significant portfolio development required in the first year to reach an expected 125-150 prospect portfolio size. •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Responsible for $1M in annual revenue from cash, pledges, and documented planned gifts designated to United Way NCA. •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Establish and maintain a qualified fundraising pipeline/prospects, focused on achieving stretch goals to support enhanced revenue streams. •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Manage systems and software to track and cultivate donors and prospects, including United Way NCA’s donor database and wealth screening tools. •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Work with the Development/Fundraising department to align efforts and set goals. Create and implement moves management plans. •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Make direct, face-to-face solicitations and work with program staff to develop individualized donor strategies; to include donor communications. •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Acknowledge major donors through public and private recognition.
